    With 10 gigabit, the kiddie just has to get a few bots to cause a server to die, or if they are persitant enough to accumulate a huge amount of bots, they can do huge amounts of damage to the internet

    You have a good point. Let's all use dial up because cable just causes havoc as well. In fact, let's stop getting more memory because then more viruses and spyware can be put onto our computer. [/sarcasm

    I don't believe in limiting technology which has many many legitimate uses because people it gives hackers and script kiddies more power.

    I'm sure your trying to be funny, but just because someone said something on slashdot doesn't make it true. Point me to some proof (and part of the facts in the article aren't even true), such as google saying they don't want third party software interacting with gmail, and then the article will be true. Until then it's merely 1 person's paranoia.

    An extended Mission until 2006 has been approved, and I hope it will last that long, maybe doing more safety checks for astronauts :)

    But surely the fact that Mars' surface gets 2 or 3 times what Earth's surface gets would stop any missions from happening anytime soon (as in, within the next 20 years)? Or is the radiation not actually a problem?

    For the first time in my history of schooling all my notes are made available on the net, so making my summary notes on the computer makes sense. However I need a program that does it now. If SP2 is any indication on how quickly Microsoft brings out new stuff I will have finished university before it comes out, either by failing my courses repeatedly or finishing normally.

    Does anyone know of an open source text-editing program that allows you to easily write maths formula? I installed Linux a couple of years back and it came with it, and I think it'd be great if I could find it again (for Windows this time ;)).
