Leprosy works by killing cells that are vital to the neuron function. It's not a matter of lymph or bone alignment, the cells are deprived of their energy supply and starve.
Leprosy has a fairly high recovery chance (50% IIRC) even in the rare case that it does break out (most people will not catch leprosy even when infected with the pathogen, the immune system fends it off). It doesn't need an external cause.
Yes, more regulation is the answer. These companies have been granted a monopoly and should be restrained to the point where they can't do any damage. Deregulating would just cause trouble with laying wires.
Yeah but that's because Capcom used the Resident Evil 4 engine for the Wii version. There are PS2 games that have quite large crowds like the Earth Defense Force games or Demon Chaos.
Nintendo already does solid 60 fps games on the Wii, they don't need an upgraded console for that. HD output is a nice-to-have thing and really necessary for new hardware these days but I don't think people would pay much extra just to get Wii games in HD.
To be fair that's a result of minimalistic design, if your device only has the bare basics on it to function then of course it'll look similar to other devices.
Both VW and Mercedes-Benz are reporting double digit growth percentages in China (Benz being down from triple digits last year because the govt stopped giving incentives for buying compact cars). The Chinese consumers don't trust their locally designed cars and turn to foreign products instead. Production of cars for China happens in China but the R&D happens in the West and the Chinese subsidiaries pay dividends to the main company.
With Blender the useful thing is that the cursor defines the depth of the place vertex command so just place your view perpendicular to the plane you want to work on and you're automatically constrained to it.
The thing about even the old interface is that while it's hard to learn it's pretty quick to use once you're there. I hope the new one remains as quick to use.
There's a compromise in the form of MDI, have one main window that contains all the smaller ones so when you use the application you only have the relevant windows brought to the top. Having multiple windows sounds great until you end up with multiple applications having several interdependent windows all over your desktop and it takes 5 clicks to get all the relevant controls on your screen whenever you go from one application to another.
The hurdle for XBLA is very high, you practically have to sign up with a big name publisher (even though digital releases shouldn't need one...) and get one of their limited number of release slots to get on there. Developers often start out on WiiWare (even if they never actually release a game on that service) to get the attention of those publishers as that has a much lower barrier to entry.
XBLIG is really meant for amateurs and I think that's fine, sometimes you can find something interesting on there.
I think XBLIG isn't exactly getting the most accurate ratings anyway, people will vote something up just because it has nice production values for an XBLIG game even if it's not even remotely competitive with what else is out there (some XBLIG games are competitive with the rest of the gaming market). Also boobies will boost the ratings.
Both XBLIG lists are populated with software from all eras of the service. The top rated game is Cthulhu Saves The World which was released last December and #3 is Oozi which came out only days ago. There isn't much in terms of brand recognition on the service but people do get attracted by titles like "fart wars" or whatever. They get downloads but not high ratings.
One major difference is that you have to download (often also buy) the software you want to rate on the app store. On the XBLIG marketplace it's possible to rate games without even owning a 360 or the game so it's possible to set up a ton of accounts and vote with all of them.
[Personally, I'd classify that sort of treatment as "non-life-threatening" and make them pay up front before treatment even if it kills them because they don't have 2 pennies to rub together, but I'm an asshole]
Letting people die like that is a crime, especially if you're a doctor. Dealing with criminal charges will likely cost way more than the treatment.
Load it with explosives instead of cocaine and drive it into an aircraft carrier, if it's really as hard to detect as they describe it the thing might bypass the escort and rip a rather large hole into a massively expensive ship. Yeah, the cartels won't do that but maybe they'll make a trade out of building these for anybody with money.
Extensions aren't necessarily motivated by capacity, there's a huge lobby interest in those things. Here in Germany the liberal-conservative govt extended the running time to keep the 7 oldest plants online even though we have enough power surplus to shut down 9 nuke plants before we need to import any power. Now they've suspended the extension as an election tactic. It backfired, they're getting sued for damages by one of the plant operators, their election results hit rock bottom (the conservatives lost control over a state they had been running for 60 years to a social democrat-green coalition where the greens are the majority party, the liberals dropped out of the parliaments completely) and now they're firing guys left and right.
Badly run uranium mines in third world countries are highly likely to kill people yet none of those have been accounted for. Your numbers are based on the wrong premise.
a natural N-opoly (where N is a small integer)
The term you're looking for is oligopoly.

I get annoyed about talk about LCD lights. That's not how liquid crystal displays work!
They gave some major votes to the nationalist party, I'd be careful about getting ruled by those.

I will just reply with this.
Would a pretzel work?

Distribution does not mean handing a legally purchased copy to someone else.

AFAIK they did, mobile generators arrived on the same day but that wasn't enough.
