Agreed, the GC version is probably the worst. I shelled out a fair bit for it and was dissapointed. Certainly the earlier versions of the game were better (I think it's got something to do with the top down view).

I hardly think though that a game is 'boring' because it's in a genre you don't like. If you take the sub-genre of Farm Management (I think I just made up a sub-genre, then how about John Deere. Must admit I've never played it but... I get the impression you can't run over your cows in any tractors.

when you consider it is Telstra who we are talking about. Telstra seems to want to charge whatever it wants, however it can only increase it's charges in line with costs. So jumping on Linux would decrease thier costs and the ACCC would jump all over them.

Maybe I'm just a cynic and my logic is flawed, but it doesn't suprise me that one monopoly should use get into bed with another monopoly.

I believe it would be hard to pass off a GBA title for a DS title, given that a GBA title would blank the bottom of the screen (or just have a logo or something). Work would still need to be done to convert a GBA title to DS.

I think the launch games would really have to use the dual screens well to improve sales of the DS.

It takes 6 driving lessons in my state before you can attempt your driving test (so around 3 months I think). Even then there is strong evidence that within the first 3 years after passing the test, there is a high percentage of fatility.

If I spend the same amount of time training to drive as I did with computers, would I be able to become an F1 driver?

I can't think of any game/system that I've wanted that hasn't been in EB (unless they've sold out). The exception to this is computer games, but then E3 really isn't geared to computer games. I'd agree with you if EB actually stocked non-major games...

If these games are truly targeting the 'mass market' then we have some really odd pensioners.
