    Well if you start suing whoever is listening to your music then pretty much you would be left all alone to listen to it.
    Music and art theft was and is a problem.

    Radiohead has matured and has shown the way. Apple is showing the path.

    Bands like KISS are still retarted and will always be. These guys want kids to pay $29.99 for a CD which contain 20 songs out of which 2 are good and rest are piss poor.

    Now that kids have the power to resist such payments, and instead pay only 99 cents for each track they like and refuse to pay 29.99 for crap, KISS hates them.

    KISS: Good riddance.
    The world would be a better place if a band like you disappears.

    Oh, and stop comparing yourself to Gold. Gold is valuable for 5000 years and still retains its lustre and value any day in any country.
    Your songs are worth the crap that you are tomorrow.

    Ahhhh... i hope to see the day when a corporation is criminally convicted, and its registered office sealed as in house-arrest with its board inside.
    Unfortunately, by a quirk of fate, the corporate veil (am studying Banking law), cannot be pierced except when government dues/taxes are due or in times of War.

    What is Spam for you is communication for Comcast.
    Their job is JUST to relay communication.
    Who are they to Judge what passes through?

    Would you want your electricity supplier to stop electricity to your home in mid-winter just because it "thinks" you bought a distribution box to distribute power to neighbours free of cost or because you plan to use a high-wattage saw to cut up firewood (and not use an electric heater)?

    Corporations already have frightening powers than individuals, let us not promote it further by giving them power to judge.

    They are the true Undead.

    Well, when they get 100% of the money for all the services they claim to provide, they better back it up by providing 100% service for all the services they contracted to provide me.
    Because, if they don't i can sue them for False Advertising, Mis-representation of merchandise involved, delibrate intent to defraud, and a raft of state laws.

    Its simple and legal. Use the same arguments they use to make you pay.
    Non-Emotional, robotic motions to legal recourse.

    What it does it matter to them, if i use torrent to download SG-Atlantis or a Linux distro.

    They can't claim to police my activities in the same way Walmart can't question a buyer of handguns in its Keene, NH store just because its store clerk felt like it.

    If i were the person who sues comcast, i would send out a subpoena demanding ALL emails relating to this PLUS pull network administrators on oath to say it.

    I bet Comcast would settle before going to court.

    EULA is overridden by California law and FCC regulations.
    AT&T and others signed a net neutrality agreement for merging.
    The same applies to comcast.
    If they block any protocol, they get sued.

    When they visit my bank, they always cluster in theor own group, eat, drink and leave together without making any effort to mingle.

    OTOH, i have found Americans and Brazilians to be more open towards embracing other cultures than others.

    No wonder Economist says USA is still number One, (inspite of all Bush is trying to do).

    Well... so does the USA. It too fingerprints and takes photos of all Aliens entering the USA.
    But i agree with you on one count: They DO discriminate against all non-japs. Even in train cars they consider you Alien and stand/sit separate.

    Do you seriously believe it?

    I don't and neither does most of US.

    If Bush and Cheney were given the green signal to hit iran, they would do so tomorrow.
    Since Bush considers himself a war-time president and likes to think he is Roosevelt (forget the vast difference in IQ and EQ between the two prezs), it would give him leverage to do a lot of things:
    1. Postpone elections and continue for a 3rd time (like roosevelt [not canceling]).
    2. Impose Draft to meet shortages (of course, his twins and cheney's daughters, and etc., would be excused from draft because they would all join Texas Air National Guard).
    3. Roll back FOIA and make it illegal for citizens to request ANY information from any operation that the government takes, on the premise that if you want any information, you must be a enemy combatant.
    4. Expand Gitmo and "politely ask" Cuba to grant them more land to do so...
    5. More no-bid contracts to Halliburton (that is it is positioned in Middle East)
    6. Blackwater would be paid a monthly fee of $200 million for all its services.

    Both Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine are looking for ways to avoid this election and am 100% positive that something will happen before 2008 elections which will make Bush continue.

    Wait and Watch.

    Am sure if Bush was the captain of the Carrier, he would popped up a couple of Torps onto the Chinese sub and claimed he thought they were terr orists since only terrorists only come so close stealthy.
    You are dead right and on point.
    The chinese think about long-term effects of any thing.
    That is why i recall the chinese leader Deng Xiaoping asking the American ambassador how the "experiment" was going along (US Democracy experiment).
    They prefer to talk things over, and solve it smoothly,instead of grabbing a gun and shooting everyone involved.
    Carter and Clinton (the first) had that approach. Reagan and Bush Jr do not have it.

    Its like cutting off your head because you have a headache, earache and running nose.
    Yes, its a sure-fire way to solve your problem, only thing that you are not left alive.

    As one slashdotter had said, we need a do-nothing president (like Calvin Coolidge) for the next 4 years to undo all the damages Bush had done in 8 years.
    No proactive Hot chases, no obeying corporate dictates, just nothing and sleeping off, welcoming foreign dignitaries, propping up US dollar so that Walmart is cheap again, and making sure the FEAR of force is enough to keep our enemies off our shores.

    Just add the sentence: "Signed under duress" to your signature on every page.
    Add it in the same small print font that these guys typed their contract.

    When sued, give the judge a magnifier and ask him to read the fine print you added.

    Case thrown out and in addition you get to sue them for costs...

    Forget religion. Think about the money wasted by:
    1. The Fed to bail out various banks time and again after LTCM, Mortgage, etc. Does it benefit small investors who have been burnt? NO. Does it benefit the Fat cats? A double yeah.
    2. The war currently being waged in Iraq which costs upto 467 billion till now (SETI could run a looong time with it). Who does it benefit? US Lives? NO. Saddam was not responsible for 9/11. Does it benefit the HUGE defense industries and companies run by Dick Cheney? YES.
    3. The various pork barrel projects like Bridge to nowhere, double-billing corporates for katrina response, Mission Over flybys by wannabe pilots like Bush, etc.
    4. The money being fed into campaign funds by varius corporates.
    5. The money being fed to NSA, CIA to destablize countries which do not even remotely threaten us, except for the fact that US corporates need to earn fat cat profits from them.

    I could go on... but today is a saturday and i intend starting it good with a full spectrum romp with my wife in bed.

    An impeachment is when BOTh houses pass the impeach motion.
    Technically and legally Clinton was not impeached.

    Its not the senate is weak. Its because they are unwilling.
    For 2 reasons: The Dems need the same power when their president takes charge. Removing that now by impeaching Bush will prevent a Dem president from enacting the same powers.
    If they complain and let go, their Dem president would do exactly the same and these spineless, corporate groveling cretins can then blame the previous president for lighting the way.
    Which is why Ron paul seriously needs to be the president.

    The corporate media is doing as much as it can to prevent his campaign, and republican party, steeped in corporate money would not dare even consider Ron paul because he stands against it.

    Hillary is useless She is the Yin of Bush's Yang. So she would be the same selfish, tough president that Bush was and commit more violations.

    Obama is like Kennedy. Too new and too fresh. We don't have the flower power generation to elect Obama.

    McCain is an old fart who refuses to lie down.

    Giuliani's candidature would be defeated by firemen and ex-cops of NYC.

    That leaves Ron Paul. Now we have raised enough money.
    It is time we pushed his name to ballot.

    Dude, welcome to the REAL US of A.
    If it is done by the president, then it is legal. Because in our presidential form of government, the president is above the law and constitution.

    I guess you are British: We don't have a Magna Carta here.
    Prety much the president (aka from 2000 onwards) is the King, dictator etc.

    Where the president warantless wiretapping which is specifically prohibited by law, the congress and senate will fall head over heels to make sure they provide immunity to all concerned parties plus throw tax payers money to the companies for continuing to do so.

    Didn'y you know? The original constitution which is supposed to be in washington was replaced by one of the copies they sell for $14.00. The original obviously was used by the president to wipe his Golden Ass when he ran out of toilet paper.

    Maybe i went to the wrong Tesco near the station i guess....
    I was desperately looking for Mocconna flavor coffee (Mocha Kenya or even the basic Mocconna).
    Ended up having coffee at Starbucks oppposite the Briish Museum. The place is pretty small but the coffee was atleast the same in Boston.

    Not True. The ability of a water kettle to boil water is determined by its wattage and NOT by whether it runs 120 V or 240 V.
    OTOH, Real men drink coffee.

    For the the love of God, i could never understand why Britishers drink Tea and their Tesco stores contain 11 different types of Tea while having only 2 types of coffee (Nescafe freeze dried and some local crap).

    Worse is their food. As Bob Hope said, the britishers are the most diplomatic people in the world. Who else would smile while serving that food.

    corporates generally prefer patents when it is to their advantage. When it makes them spend money, they call it trolling.

    In this case, the inventor should not sell rights completely. Instead he shd license it to the patent troll so that when the big money starts rolling in, atleast he would be compensated.

    I was in Sydney. They first deduct points from your license and then suspend it.
    But, as you rightly said, speeding at 25 KPH+ the speedlimit is a sure fire way to get arrested....
    Heck, Croydon and Haberfield suburbs used to have delibrately concealed speed limits to snare innocent drivers like me...
    No amount of pleading with the judge let me off the hook during christmas time when those jokers took 4 points off my license...
