Perhaps I am old fashioned, but I do not like the whole season in one time. Having to wait for what will happen next week was part of the fun.
I noticed that I hardly finish a season of anything. Daredevil? Watched two shows and the rest is waiting. Orange is the new black? Watched the first series by forcing myself. The second is still on my planning.
The same goes for al others that I have. This while when I look at other shows who even might be less in quality, I watch them all.
And why make 13 different shows when they are available at the same time anyway? You loose a lot with just the credits.
What about those that do? There are plenty of places to buy the knowledge to have chips upgraded, replaced or bypassed to get better performance and/or better fuel economy.
Is this just the homes, or also the roads and infra structur? Does it include (long term) maintanance? Because those things could take up a lot of money.
4%? Holy fuck! It should not be unreasonable that this number is higher with others (because it is even scarier to think that it would be higher with people who are in death row), but let us assume that this is the average: 2,266,800 in Incarceration in the US. That means 90.672 people innocently in prison.
That is a LOT of inncocent people. That means also a LOT of innocent bystanders, like wifes and children.
The Guillotine was an improvent in the way executions were done. It was the most humane one at that moment.
It was quick, reusable af few times in a row and relitive painless compared to what was used before.
However now what is needed is different and science is different. We do not need to have a method where many need to be execusted in a row. What is humane is shiftes as is what has been done before.
My guess is that people point to the guillotine, because they do not want it to be humane as the deathrow is seen not so much a punishment but as a revenge. It is painfull enough to give in to the revenge feeling, yet humane enough to pretend that they care.
What the most humane way would be is obvious for almost all countries in the world.
The questions haver been answerd in other countries already. If they have not been answerd in the USofA is this because: A) The companies do not actualy want it B) The companies do not want to invest C) The CEO needs a new boat D) All of the above
Just look at previous desasters and see who was saved by having a cellphone with FM and who dies because they did not have FM on their cellphones.
You should also take into account who dies becase of FM and who lived because they did NOT have when no disaster was going on.
And how often do emergencies happen? In all my life I have NEVER been in a situation where my life depended om having an FM radio. And those people who are worried about some major collaps (people who burried themselves in 2000, you can come out now.) will have HAM radio licences and what not.
You can make a movie (or even a documentary) about a crime without knowing the side of the criminal. e.g. of only those things you read about in public records. No copyright infringement.
If the criminal would write a book and you base your movie on that, then it would be copyright infringement.
To sum it up: there is a difference between an autobiography and a biography. The claim here is that they used the first.
If people double my pay, I would not CARE if it was a publicity stunt. In fact I would HOPE it was a publicity stunt and that it works out for the company. That way I will stay longer in a functioning company.
And this is salary. Not "just" a bonus of 9.400USD for 14.600people from Porche.
So please sign me up for the publicity stunt. (That with the knowledge that in Europe they can't lower your pay, even if you get a lower job at the same company.)
Luckily IT people NEVER screw up anything. I have seen them promise on their kids that they would solve issue X by then. The sales people asked this several times. There was no "We think" or "We hope". It was "By 02:15 the lines will be up again."
They were not and now the sales people who gave the promises had to do a lot of things to keep customers.
Or when they said there was no change, so it could not be their problem, but they DID change something and it WAS due to that. Stoopid salespeople had to do a lot of extra work to keep the customers.
I once had to do my first quaterly meeting with some changes that would be forseen in budget for some new projects.
I asked my boss how I should adress this and his answer was: This is very simple. What we propose is a menu and the menu has fixed prices for each item. They can then decide what they would like to eat. It is also up to them to have a desert ot not and have a starter or not.
Basically it is putting the ball in back in their hands.
No negotiation, because that would mean that you either gave a to high price or end up with a to low budget.
That does not mean that you can not change anything. If they want a cheaper desert, you can take away the cherry.
Also do win-win or no deal. (straight from 7 habits of highly effective people by Steven R. Covey)
So, do your homework before, not after you sit together at the table.
We tell normal human beings to use a different password for each of the 200 or so sites that they have an account on, many of which they use once a year. That's idiotic, and users are telling us we're insane by ignoring it.tHIS; This. So much this. I use 5 different passwords. The same as you, but with different ones for work and for home as well added.
IT people only look at their own little world. Their own server and the only thing they are interested in is not being blamed if somebody hacks the system. Then when it is broken into they can say: well, we told the password should be 256 characters long, should be changed each time you get back from a break and must contain the rules as provided by us. The user decided to write it down and that is clearly not allowed.
Instead they should start looking for a better way to do it. People are part of the chain and will be the weakest link; You can not change people, so you need to work with what you have.
So as a result the weakest password I have is my work password. Basically a four letter word with year and month added. I change them every month on the first workday of the month.
It's their product, they can do whatever they want with it. Don't like it? Use something else
I will bite. I live in Leuven next to Stella Artois. That became Interbrew, then InBev, which is a Belgian-Brazilian beer coompany. It is now called AB InBev, because the Mericans thought the name is important.
So this Brazilian/Belgian company should start selling beer to 16 year olds in the USofA, because they are not an American company and if people don't like it, they can just NOT buy it.
And all this fingerpointing leads to confused users (who are the worst as they are demanding it to just work). I had an issue with displaying things on Windowmaker, while it worked on XFCE. Windowmaker pointed to X.org. They pointed to NVidia who pointed to Windowmaker.
"It wasn't me." was all the feedback I got. No way they would talk to each other, because their code was perfect.
As if two ISP's only check their network so the connection problem MUST be with the other ISP and nobody checks the patch cable between the two of them, because that is not our problem. (Yes, that really happened. Yes, it was a patch cable. Yes it took weveral hours before somebody pushed it back into place.)

Just search for ECU remapping. An example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

That used to be true till the Communists^WTerrorists came along.
We have ALWAYS been at war with Eurasia.

The fact that they are not as bad as others does not mean they are not a monoipoly and should be stopped being one.
Can't we remove the sillyness of the middleman and just directly go to auctioning off people in politics.
Large companies pay more in party contribution than in taxes anyway, so they have a right to buy the laws.
Well, you are forcing other countries into democracy. Why not try it for youselves?
The fact that you think it is remarkable that police did NOT beat somebody senseless or kill him is very worrying.
Well, I bought this phone for my grandma. It is a Samsung. So how should she get rid of the Google Android and work Googless?
Please explain in 3 easy to understand steps.
Just because it is technically possible does not mean anything. The reality is that if you buy an android, you are linked to Google.

So it happens on all sides. In all departments.

And for the rest Google uses you. Remember: you are the product. What you typed here will be searchable and minable.
What if companies do charitable work? Should that also be deductable or is that already the case?
And is not one of the big sporting companies (NBA or the like) also a charity?
The IT people who I talked to about passwords all had them written down. All of them over several companies.
I will bite. I live in Leuven next to Stella Artois. That became Interbrew, then InBev, which is a Belgian-Brazilian beer coompany. It is now called AB InBev, because the Mericans thought the name is important.

What if the person who is petting you is of the same sex and attracted to the same sex?
Just look at ethe US itself where many are unable to afford houses, while others have it all and more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
There is no need to look and point at the third world when things at home are not right.
