So now it is the stores that could ask for a 10% transaction fee, if they so desire.Oh? That is illegal? So make it illegal for cashless as well. There are places in the world where it IS illegal for them to do so.
Before you reply with CC, understand the difference between a credit and debit card.
So isn't the problem how easy or hard it is to track, but that you have governements that ARE tracking it? What are we going to do about that?
In Belgium Credit Card Companies are not allowed to track or analyze the sales they see coming in. They can guess, but have no idea if I bought milk or wiskey in the supermarket.
The issue is not the trackability. The problem is that we LET them track us.
Just like with anything, it can be used for good and for evil. If you do not hold people for the evil part, they will assume it is good. Just cash will not stop them in any way or form tracking you. It just is a bit harder. That is all there is to it.
And even making it as hard as possible will not stop anything in the end. All you are doing is saying: what you do is ok.
Censorship can and is done by non-government entities. If you tell your kids they can not watch TV for whatever reason, that is censorship. Do not kid yourself that it is only so if a government does it it.
It is a bit of a stupid qestion. At that level, people are working to live, not living to work. So I rather have enough money given to me that I would not die than slave away 16 hours per day with the risk of losing it all, just so I do not die.The sole reason I have a job is so I can get an income. The moment I do not have an income, I am not going to work. I will be doing other things.
That said, giving people a purpose is good for their mental health. At this moment we still think that somebody standing in a factory many hours per week is a more worthwhile human that a person who does it half time and is with the kids the rest of the time. Neglecting your family is seen as a good thing by many. Loyalty to the company is see as loyalty to a king. Yet where the king provided some form of protection as much as he was able to give, the company does no such thing. These are just resources, ok human, yet still resources and managed by a human resource manager.
The people here are generally are just a bit better of than the average person/ We are just a bit more equal than the rest.
32? What about 64 days. That is 4 seasons. That would make each of the 16 months 16 days. A week would be 8 days. That is when your project is a 'bit' late, it means you are a week over time. (Yeah, it shoul be a byte late, but language...) A day would then be devided into 16 hours, (Morning, afternoon, eveneing, night. Perfect!) An hour is 64 minutes and a minute is 64 seconds.
But please, please, please, let ISO deside how to show dates and not some American Institute who will mix weeks with meniutes, followed by years and then days or whetever order they randomly pick.
Where I live people who would order at that timee are still drinking in a bar close to a shoarma shop. They will have pizza as well. You take it home yourself when you go home at 05:00
If I get home at 02:00 I would have problems finding my bed, let alone my phone. If I am sober, I would not order pizza. And the 19:00 peak. I rather go to a pizzeria and sit down with a gkass of wine.
I have some local machines that have NO connection to the rest of the world. They are HTTPS, but having am official cerificate is not really possible as far asI know, because they can not be verified like my others do that you canb reach from the outside.
It is a sfucking 192.168.x.y address. Stop saying it isn't safe, ya dolt.
Living in Belgium. When you use an external callcenter as a company that callcenter can not use your number to be shown.
the moment you do that it will be fraudelent behaviour. The Telco will be the least of your problems if they go after you.
A way around this _MIGHT_ be using VoiP. This can easily be done if you are the legal entity.
That said, living in Europe it is pretty standard that the callcenter is in another country. Remember that countries are the size of states and language barriers do not follow national barriers. So e.g. Dutch and Flanders will be one callcenter. Walony, Zwitserland and France together Germany, Austria and Zwitserland yet another. Ireland and GB might be together as well.
And French callcenters can also be located in Marocco. And I know of one UK company that had an inhouse callcenter in South Africa. Added bonus for that is there is not much time difference.
So there is a difference between an inhouse and outhouse callcenter. And inhouse means the same legal entity.
People who do crimes will never think they will get caught. This is both the person who calls, the person who speeds or the person who robs people with banks.
That if they have not told themselves that what they do is borderline legal. e.g. all these "Get a free trial" websites.
Now you can calculate it rationally. There are 24 people who were arrested. What was their role? Where they the agents or the heads or somewhere in between or on the side. Of all the thousands worlkdwide doing these things, how much is 24? Driving to that job will be a lot riskier, even if not in India, but Indiana.
I do that as well and am discriminated against my way of life if I go to a vegetarian restaurant. I went to a steak house with a vegetarian friend and he was able to get something he liked. I went with him to a vegetarian one and I went out drunk, because I could eat nothing.
And as an aside, to me meat is basicaly processed vegetables. Some people like their vegetables cooked and then put on a plate. I just add an extra layer of seasoning.
And do not buy a mortable with s 4K monitor. For that size and distance ot is not worth it. For mist usets their PC/portable is too fast anyway. Some ad-blocker will increase the speed a lot faster.
I go to work by train and what people use their laptops for is outlook,, excel, warching movies and Internet.
The occasional linuxer mostly will be some ITer with s terminal running, so grunt work will bedine remotely.
Well, for a writer it would be for his lifetime, because they kill themselves after 14 years anyway.
And why the lifetime of the next of kin? Fuck-em. Let them write their own things. I would say 10 years is enough. If you did not make it then, bad luck. If you die in tyhe mean time, the remainder of the time will be seen as estate, just like the bank account and the second hand volvo owned by the deceased.
If the aim of the attacker is to crash the plane, being strapped in might not be an advantage. I also am not sure if having a gun, that can be taken by others, is a good solution in such an enviroment.
It is not as if the pilot is on full allert all of his carreer for something that might never happen. To many false positives and/or misuse possible and more likely.
There are plenty of aitports where you have to scan your ID and/or boarding pass just before you put your stuff on the belt and enough stuff to link it to the person in front of them.
And even if it is 'one of these 3 people', with the current abilities to screen that willbe easily reduced to 1.
The fines in Europe are not fixed. They look at the profit that has been made.
A similar thing would result in different fines for other companies, depending on how much they made of it. And rest asured, they did not make any money of it.
Oh and givbing millions to each side in politics? First: that is not that easy in Europe and secondly, do you have ANY ideas how many parties there are in Europe? Hint: It is more than two and there are much more sides than just 2.
I read/. there are always people who claim th EU just tsxrs US companies. Oh wait. I live in Europe and do iunderstand that the EU is not after US companies, but after those that break the law. Correlation is not causation.
And still you get a large blue banner with nothing on it, followed by an almost emty white space. Why did they not do something about that? This is not just a Windows thing. On XFCE I use a theme that has no top bar, because I do nit need it. The information I will see somewhere else.
I look at outlook at work right now and see the name of the folder and the name of the mailbox and the name of the program. I understand by looking at the program that it is not Notepad or Excell. I see what the selected mailbox is and thus doe not need this useless information. Other programs are even worse. At work we have IE 11 and the top bar just has the Minimize, maximize and close in the top right. The rest is blank. Why?
There is a HUGE difference between ergonomics and design. A computer program should not be left to designers. It must be functional in the first place.
Yes, this might lead to 'stupid meetings' where you talk about if the wording of a default setting should be 'not enabled' or 'disabled' depending on the rest. Because that way all the settings can look the same with 'on' (or all with off), what makes it easier to see if there is something that is changed.
And it will be different per case, so there is no one good answer foir it all.
Thete was a short story about that online. People got housed by gov. One person got send to Stralia where they did it differently.
Anybody a link?
So now it is the stores that could ask for a 10% transaction fee, if they so desire.Oh? That is illegal? So make it illegal for cashless as well.
There are places in the world where it IS illegal for them to do so.
Before you reply with CC, understand the difference between a credit and debit card.
Next: Are there dangers in a cash only society?
The answer will still be the same: "yes, definitely".
So isn't the problem how easy or hard it is to track, but that you have governements that ARE tracking it?

We evolved this way, just as God intended 6000 years ago.
I do that as well and am discriminated against my way of life if I go to a vegetarian restaurant. I went to a steak house with a vegetarian friend and he was able to get something he liked. I went with him to a vegetarian one and I went out drunk, because I could eat nothing.

We have at least one confirmed story.
The fines in Europe are not fixed. They look at the profit that has been made.

Try http://hackme.houghi.org/ Do a DNS lookup first. It also confuses people. Even plenty of network people need a second look.
