When I learned typing, I was learned to use 1 space. This was well before the Internet or PC's where a thing. Spacing gives you more 'time' to think. It becomes clearer where a line stops if it is '. ' compared to '. ' especially because the space between words is identical and the '.' is way to small to see. It can easily be overlooked. Bit like 'rn' and 'm' looking the same. If a differnt thing would have been used for something as important as the end of a sentence, it would have been a lot easier. e.g. ~ or | or anything else but the smallest of things we could find.
I have had that happen to me. Took about 5 minutes or so. I was waiting for a tran, they stopped, checked my ID, called in (this was before internet) said thank you and I was on my way. Did not even miss my tram.
I would also like to know if this is better or worse than before. I was once stopped, id checked and let go. The next day I saw them doing the same with somebody whoo had about my figure and clothing. So they had some sort of description.
He was let go as well. No idea how many people they would need to check that way compared to face recognition.

That would mean I would need to look into the repairs and have to figure out if arepair is expensive, but good or cheap but bad or anything in between. And no way of knowing after I spend the money. That on top of my time that has a value as well.
Even if it was as dark as they edited it, it would mean the car was driving too fast for the human in the car and the lights on the car wbhere not bright enough for the human in the car. You can not blame the human if you close his eyes and then ask him what he sees and he is wrong.
If the person is lying sbout who he is and you show that you did follow that information and show you had no idea he was lying, you will be in the clear. If you took reasonable steps, there is no issue.
The way I see it as a European, it will mean that they where selling my data anyway, so that means they won't do that anymore. It also means they will not be able to do that for any of the other 350+MM Europeans.
This was also the intended reason for the law. It is as if Europe is saying "You are not allowed to take our data" and these websites are saying "Well, if that is the case, as punishment, we are not going to take your data."
I do not care if they buy the tickets to enrich themselves financially by selling the tickets or emotionally by going to the concert. I would not even mind if they bought ALL of the tickets and not go at all, leaving the artist alone in an empty hall.
To me it is that if you own something, you should be able to sell it. If you make a profit doing so. Good for you. If you make a loss. Also good for you. It is yours, so you can do with it as you please.
Or are you saying I can not buy anything with the intention of selling it later with a potential profit? Scalpers do not drive up the price. The initial price that has been paid was and is the same.
That does not mean I like what they do and I do think that they are scum of the earth. It does not mean that I also think to have a right to do what they do. Defending people that you agree with is easy. I defend the people I hate.
Or you just do not care that people re-sell something that is theirs. If I buy a phone, I should be able to resell it. If I buy a ticket to a concert, I should be able to sell it.

Scalpers were selling the tickets at 30-50% of the original price and they where mostly unable to do so. Great concert. Also shows that I am old as fuck. The only way we knew was due to a 2 line article in the newspaper somewhere in the middle. (Yeah, we read paper newspapers then) No Internet to up the hype.. No cerllphones to message people and let them know.
They could just use your Security number as your ticket number. Add your Credit card number once it is paid. Add the CVV code as a control to see if all is OK. Just print this out and hand it over to the people at the entry. I mean, what could go wrong?

I can filter on the "TO:' for companies and on the FROM: for know addresses. All the rest is very easy and fast to look through and is most likely spam.
Add some spammy addresses (e.g. travel2018@example.net) for specific things and you done. The travel I just delete after a year of travel, so hotels and restaurants can spam me, but I will not know and I know I do not need to look for the 'I do not want your spam' button 7 pages down for each place I go to.
To be fair, except for the spammy addresses, I only had an issue with eBay where I probably forgot to deselect the spamming option once and I started to receive spam from people where I bought something from. So that address is gone.

I see this also when people quote the three laws of robotics as if they are real. They are not. They solely exist because they can be used to drive the plot. Without them the books would be boring. In fact, the books are basically showing how to get around these laws.
So please take it as it is, a persons opinion that is just as valid as that from any troll.Because what he is saying is "I imagine that it can be possible." That is good and that is also his job and a way to make a great show possible. That does not mean it is realistic.
Car making is a long term investment. In the industry this is still a startup. Remember how Amazon lost a lot if moneyduring the few first uears? And Musk is not in it for the miney. People keep forgetting that, probably because they do not understand that.
I would think that drawing a line on a circle would not be hard. All you now need to do is make weg or of all the land and see if that line hits land or not. Something that has been done in Space Duel and any other duelling game. You could even show an explosion, like in the games.
They already could have had backdoors, but noooo, they had to forbid Huawei to enter the US market. Oer perhaps Huawei did not have any backdoors and they knew it would be unpossible to convice them to have backdoors and they thought they at least had a shot with the other players. So you think that around 50% of the US are self starters or independent (And I assume you are talking real independent, not pushed into it, so their employers can save a few dollars in responsibility). Could you back that up with some numbers, or is it just that you have the impression that that is the case?
It is also funny/sad that you think that these two are the extremes and that politics is only left to right and choice is on a line. In reality it is a lot more complex than that.
