to be quite honest, we're too small minded to colonise the galaxy. we use our resources to make trivial things that amuse us for a short period of time (ipod, iphone, etc) rather than doing useful things (cure diseases, etc).
we need to cast ourselves together and towards a goal of the improvement of humankind, live together yaddy yadda, and so on and so forth.
we're going to go extinct and this is me being optimistic!
did you not check the hardware capability list? i bet you made sure to pick everything that's not on the list for windows xp and at the same time everything on the list for ubuntu.
nah i'm only joking. ubuntu can't detect my onboard soundcard. boohoo!
... everything after that gets easier and easier.
yes, it was the same for me and that prostitute last night and she was worth every penny.
thank you, thank you.
i'm here all week.
imagine if you weren't convicted but sometime later on in your life you are murdered and mutilated beyond recognition. all they have is your dna to identify you. wouldn't it be nice to be identified? but then again you wouldn't care as you'd be dead but if it was one of your love ones? ach who cares it's not anyone you know.
i don't think keeping a dna database is much a problem. people just fear that the government would abuse this system and possibly set people up and what not.
it just shows people don't trust democracy any more and that they definitely don't trust the people that they voted into power.
they make money from the other stuff they sell for the console

you're not getting my point. if you have amigaos on a mobile phone or a set top box it'll blow everything else out of the water. if you've ever used palmos or windows mobile, they don't do anything that great (in terms of multitasking and speed).
well the os4 needs ppc and needs to ported to different architectures:S

it makes for a good embedded os since it does have a small memory footprint and is heading towards memory protection, etc. a lot of embedded os imo don't move about like amigaos.
yes but you can't get actors in simultaneous locations to promote the film. that would just kill them even with timezones people do need a bit of rest.
it's a pity they don't have a game that simulates traffic jams. we'd be more likely to look at roadside ads if we were stuck in traffic. but then again, that would be one lame game. however, when i've played plenty of fps games i tend to look at the environment around me more often because of the stupid puzzles they put in to break the shooting fest which would become repetitive.

sorry it was just the sound of me whacking my head off the keyboard after reading that.
how is this offtopic? people should fix these things so they don't bug the hell out of the little guys like this one.

amigaone can run linux :P
old amigaos had that problem but it's been well patched now.
is there a trade off between a real time operating system and general purpose operating system?
