4.) Wash your clothes, wash yourself, lose a bit of weight, brush your teeth.
I will QFT this for OP
Taking care of yourself shows woman that you can also take care of her. And remember: its not just results, but also effort that counts here a lot.
Also, overweight = bad sex. You loose some effective length of instrument because it gets sunk in fat, you get softer erections, you get tired more easily. And women know it and want to avoid it (because, they too, want to get laid).
---
Because you need to realize one thing (and it is extremely helpful): She (no matter who 'she' is) wants relationship and sex just as much as you do.
Just understand this: You are not going to be 'hunting' women or 'making them yours' or 'convincing them to date you' or something like this, its not all about your ability to be social, they will do their share too. All you have to do is to show some interest and guts and ask that hard 'will you go out with me?' question, they can take over from that point:).
I would be worried myself rather than celebrating it.
Game with 'easy way out' can make children expect something like that later in their life subconsciously and become frustrated.
There is big deal made out of fact that most games expose children to very fast and very direct and simple reward-effort situations, that makes them less able to handle distant rewards.
But again, kids were playing games before computers were around and Deferred gratification was there before computer games too.
When Inflation hits hard and money turns to useless paper, gold or anything similar is how you preserve your assets.
Germany after WW1 actually saw this (bread costing million one day and 10 million the other day, but exactly same amount of barter currency. It made helluva lot sense to spend 1000 on gold because withing year those 1000 were only good as tinder and would buy one something like one grain of wheat while gold kept value much, much better.)
Remember that money nowadays that is unbacked is just piece of paper without government enforcing it as legal tender as it is.
Gold at 30% extra is swell deal if you are faced with possibility that your cash would be worth 50% less tomorrow.
Anytime new virus appears, there is lag before it is discovered, lag before it is dissected and lag before updates reach machines. There is zero chance that any AV will protect anyone from brand new virus (heuristics still being in "nice try" stage).
There is just no way around it.
AVs do not really protect you from bleeding edge attacks, they just make you feel fuzzy and safe while keeping you safe from threats that have already passed.
And that is seriously scary. Perfect way to plant evidence that destroys ones personal and professional life pretty much forever. No matter what you do, incriminating material can appear on your computer given someone has it for you.
I have heard on browsing history assassination nearly getting fired guy (he left machine on, did not lock it and left for lunch, someone took it for porn ride and called HR. Luckily for him, his boss was there with him when he was on lunch and took stand for him.)
I wonder, is there actual defense against this?
Hmm, lets say you keep images of drive of machine you send for repair... then its their word against your word. And considering material involved, your word will not have as much weight, as you would look like real deal trying to save his ass.
Or you have part of drive encrypted... bad images can still appear in unecrypted part.
Or you can keep whole drive encrypted (only option when you have hardware problem), but its oh-so-easy to just wipe it and install something transparent over it and give it nice touch of being 'used' along with some pictures.
Or you can send it there without disk. Someone who is going to plant pictures can as well just plant harddrive there.
If people do have certain fantasies, ain't it better to give them way to realize them in virtual world? Just like people who cannot be achiever in real life drown in MMOs, have would-be rapists drown in these games?
Even better: Ownership of these games can be used to identify dangerous people. Sure, they can have them, they are not hurting anyone. But as long as police/whoever knows they own those games, well... would-be rapist will know he is gonna be first one to be investigated should something happen.
It is about transparency. You can either have people to suppress their urges, building up pressure until they do something harmful or you can let em be more open about them and keep eye on then on side just in case.
Of course you will be ridiculed. You managed to rage-out for no reason at all. While you could think yourself and file-sync messiah, you should look up success rates of OS projects. Wasteland of abandoned projects is covered with 'neat tools' which reinvented wheel.
Citizens of those countries being able to comunicate with rest of the world and see&compare how people live elsewhere will cause change. That is reason why their cowerment attempt to censor internet. US of A does not need to help them with that.
Big Bad Common Foreign Enemy targeting them too on the other hand... well, ignorant masses are easy prey to propaganda.
This still does not help with issue: What happens when you loose access to DRM & Content delivery system?
Reply is, of course, you loose access to content.
Now, DRM system can have its merits and can be run by nice company, but that does not mean anything when its turned off. It just won't help me (re)play classic.
Notice that this is part of wider issue:
What happens to my email address when gmail stops working? What happens to my data when cloud provider bankrupts? What happens to my assets when bank goes belly up?
You loose it.
People have to trust companies they make business with. Obviously, not everyone trusts owners of Steam.
> Now, would you like to have a grown up conversation, or are we going to stick with slinging slogans around?
If you can not have better answer to those slogans than implied accusations on childishness and avoiding point... Just ignore them.
You must realize that for most people bleeding edge is not great location to be at. They do not want to be there. And they should not be there.
There is demand for:
* Stability. And not just technical stability, but also feature, user interface, you name it, stability.
For that you need:
* Point of reference. That is release, a finished product. Too much of releases blurs it and makes it worthless.
You need that to provide meaningful tech support. Last thing you want to do is to be forced to treat each desktop and unique snowflake. Or worse, each desktop being bleeding edge (of disaster).
Fast incremental cycle is great for developer and tinkerer, but not for end user that wants stuff get done and wants tech guy to help him fast if needed. And tech guy has easier time helping him is OS is more feature wise stable.
Indeed. Getting 'free' stuff from Kazaa and sharing it back was definitely not in her best interest in past.
I wonder if, once he heard details from her, he will too bail out. His free services look like visibility stunt where he expects to win based on RIAAs tendency to sue innocent people. Only thing he can chew on and pull a win is the fact that MediaSentry evidence is not valid for court.
5k kidney is 5k because donor actually survives that kind of operation. So there is enough poor people that go under knife.
Check prices of non-pair organs. You know, the ones where you actually have to butcher someone to get merchandise.
I have seen it translated as equivalent of pre-set or initial-settings or factory-settings.

Read my sig and guess where I am from :-)
Are you sure, there are no alternatives?

More detailed:
In capitalism, worker is basically supplier company with contract that gives it certain privileges. Wage is just payment for his services.
In communism, worker owns share in company and invests to it with his work. His wage is share of profit.
Pretty much anyone who owns shares of company he works in can be considered communist :)

wellbeing of fictional 12-year-old? who cares!
rape game is disturbing, but hardly hurting anyone.
If you consider borrowing laptop even remotely similar to borrowing wife... *Shudder*.
Anyhow, to state obvious that needs to be stated, borrowing wife is not harmless nor costless.
If you refuse such simple, harmless and costless request, you are not really their friend either.
You are aware or rsync and power of bash, right?

1) Not entirely true.
DRM slows down time between release and general ability on torrents. Hours are hoped for. Days are considered success. Weeks are *Epic Win*
DRM disables "handing out copy to friend" for most people.
2) 'Fair use tool' would be security hole. It is naive to expect that it would be used for its intended purpose.
3) Everyone knows how this kind of stuff ends up. Bureaucracy would swallow it and media would ignore it.
4) Here, have a cookie.

Wow ... I first thought this was joke site, but, just wow ...
That's not how it really works.

Which is shame, because their natural language backed computational engine does not really work as expected

Technical mumbo jumbo was not his point, you are beating strawman out here.
Point is GUI, which was, indeed, nearly identical for past 20 year. We still have legacy buttons like home (WTF!).
Simple fix: Adopt video-only policy for porn.
