During the 2004 Canadian federal election there was a similar phenomenon with discrepancies between polls and the actual results. An observation was made by Rex Murphey on the CBC the day after, and it went something like this:
My wife has been answering calls from pollsters and was exit-polled after she voted yesterday. After receiving so many questions in such a short period of time she came up with a plan to protect her right to privacy while still answering the questions: She lied to them.

As sweet as that sounds (and it does sound tasty), blu-ray has a higher bandwidth than SATA which would be a greater boost in overall performance.

As for multiple disk games, well, I'm sure that we haven't seen the end of those. Multi blu-ray disk games could be just massive, although again this wouldn't directly mean an increase in enjoyment.

Personally I'm waiting for multiple dedicated AI cores so that the damn bots will find cover when I shoot at them, maybe get some decent squad movement happening.

I agree, the massive storage increases on blu-ray would allow game developers to pack more content into one game. Although, this wouldn't neccessarily result in better games or higher selling ones. The potential is there, though.

This is true. However, there is also no regulatory body to protect them. The 200 mile international limit includes the provision that ships can exercise flag state jurisdiction in cases of piracy or slavery outside their waters; one could pay a country with a navy to protect oneself.

This is already happening. In fact, it seems to be a hobby for wifi enthusiasts to cruise around their neighborhoods mapping the access points. There are already several scripts to put the GPS data onto satellite images and a company called SkyHook is currently gathering information about wireless APs for an E-911 system.
