Strangely enough, when epsidoe 1 released, I bought it at best buy for $15 retail whereas the steam download was (and still is $20). I don't understand why steam costs more for a digital download. There's no way the cost of the bandwidth used equals (if not exceeds) the manufacturing, material, and shipping costs for the retail copies.
...the whole 'Zelda for adults' tagline. I played BG&E and didn't think it was any more 'adult' than zelda. Maybe they were just riding on the more cartoonish look of Wind Waker at the time, but BG&E didn't look very realistic either. Both are great games, and I don't really get the 'adult' comparison. Even the difficulties were pretty even.
This guy is just trying to get a rise out of people like/.'ers. Look at his ridiculous exaggerations, like:
Considering the fact that everyone who knows how to write two bits of code dreams of hitting windows with a virus, the guys at the "Redmond Giant" are doing a spectacular job.
I know how to code fairly well, and I have no intentions of writing any malicious code for any OS at all.
Or how about:
I think it's the most over rated piece of software ever built and survives simply out of spite and not because it is terribly good at doing something because it is not!
Note how he doesn't focus on the open source aspect at all, or stability, or ANYTHING positive about linux, and that each OS has their respective benefits.
The list goes on and on, with every statement made being incredibly closed-minded. He reminds me of a roomate I had a few years ago that wrote into our college paper just to get a rise out of people (with such wonderful articles as "Our football team sucks" and "The girls here are ugly.")
The games are emulated. There are no changes to the games except for the resolution change. The NES ran at 256x224, the GBA's resolution is 240x160. Since it's not a straight ratio, the games look somewhat "squished" vertically.
I bought the classic NES Zelda, and it's not very noticeable unless you constantly think about it or have it side by side to the real NES version. The only part where it actually stands out is in text - the text is still very readable, but noticeably distorted.
Actually, it doesn't qualify as cel shading. The official site said they tried cel shading, but resorted to completely hand drawn animations and sprites instead.
Cel-shading, on the other hand, "is a style of rendering computer-generated imagery that resembles hand-drawn, cartoon images".
Why would Sony have anything to do with this? Sonic is Sega's creation.
But I thought Red Steel was being developed by Ubisoft and is NOT a first party title.

It's probably all designed purposefully for people to make a fuss and notice the ad(s).

Ignore the fool.
