I guess I lucked out as I just came back to Canada through Vancouver and denied to give the agent my computer and phone passwords. He said he could keep them if he saw fit and hand them over to "other agencies" to crack them.
Needless to say, this team has been following the OSS tradition of giving crappy names to projects. Maybe it's not that "needless" to say because this tradition is widely followed.
The problem with open document and one thing that may keep organizations from adopting is the fact that it's not stable yet. I mean, as people try to improve the format new XML things will be added into it and existing ones change for the better and then backward compatibality will either have to be broken or you'd end up with a bloated document format.
my 2 cents
From article:
"In addition to acting Microsoft's good cop on open source, Hilf also runs the Microsoft Linux lab"
Is this Microsoft Linux distro open-source? Where do I get it?
From the article
"Today, the security of the Google Desktop system is resting on JavaScript's "same-origin" policy. If an
attacker can somehow violate this policy, far more serious attacks than merely reading local search results
will become possible..."
Doesn't the famous Window Injection Vulnerability which affects most browsers violate the "same-origin" policy of javascript?
I thought the only people that diet are the people that want to lose weight. For example people in Ethiopia were trying to achieve perfectness--getting back to their birth weight....but these astronauts , surely they have passed that stage.....they weight nothing....i'm confused.

"Hmm...thinking of something that people would mistype in a search engine..."
It says _type_ and not mistype!
I know you can play games, but can Linux run on it as well? No really, I heard stories of people running linux on XBOX.

I wonder if the decision to switch suse to a gnome distro made him want to leave.
What's the difference about this release and the "non general" release that was announced a while back?
"it looks like a logo that incorporates orange and brown is required before you apply"
Is it just me or do the logos look rusty and gray?
Darn. Nope, slashdotting to a toll to it. Sorry.
So would you have to hire people to shovel this ice into the CPU just so _you_ could get your porn in multiple tabs in firefox ? This comes to mind: http://image30.webshots.com/30/3/56/25/229835625YR BxIE_ph.jpg
