    A depressing number of people signed it instantly without hesitation.

    The only way the probability of an event can not have a statistic is if it is not measured.
    And if fraudulent behaviour by banks isn't measured then the US really is stuffed.

    Do the police like using Safari or something?

    Its not like the Safari cookie policies are law.

    I do live in a country with strict gun laws. Australia.
    Violent crime rate? What violent crime rate?

    Every single time without fail, when a gun is used to commit a crime, it is mentioned on the news.
    Imagine doing that in the US. The news networks wouldn't get anything else in!

    Yeah but that is usually due to custom chips and different architectures.

    With everything now on X86 it becomes stupidly easy. Just certain APIs need to be rewritten so they don't need the exact hardware config.

    That cable you have isn't the same as what the NBN was doing. It is a hybrid coax.

    The fibre is downstream only, not upstream.

    My rubbish ADSL beats your upstream by double yet my downstream is 10Mbit.
    Hence the massive flaw with HFC.

    Arguably it is better to live in a dictatorship in some ways.

    At least the lines are pretty clear and you know what not to do.
    In the US it seems the lines can be wherever they want them to be at a time to guarantee you cross them.

    Actually a device is more useful in practical terms for comparing a specific device to an adaptor.

    I have a 500 amp 5v USB charger. That means my phone charges in 30 seconds right?

    You have to take in to account the device's ability to draw the power.
