    You are forgetting Spaceship One, Armadillo Aerospace, the rich people visiting the ISS, and even the guys from Denmark trying to reach orbit with a homemade rocket. People like you and me could be flying into LEO within our lifetimes. Isn't that worth mentioning?

    I don't think they do this to resolve debt, but because due to inflation, they would otherwise end up paying $20,000 for a soda, which would be something very impractical to do even with $100 bills. At some point they have to convert their currency to something manageable again and as far as I know, the debt is also converted.

    The US doesn't even have the capacity to put a man in LEO anymore, let alone to bring a space station to the moon. It would be awesome, but I don't see a new Apollo project starting in within the next 10 years...

    The Lustre file system used to support RedHat, SUSE and vanilla kernels. After the acquisition by Oracle, only RedHat and OEL are supported. I'd say fuck Oracle.

    While in general it is true that companies apply the rule 1 Dollar = 1 Euro when selling items in Europe, you must not forget that in Europe (Germany for instance) prices are always with the 19% Tax included, while in America you need to add it to the given price.
