I was playing with my Gmail account and it seems that as long as you rename the file to something other than.rar (or whatever archive type you use) you can upload and retrieve the file just fine. WinRAR allows you to brake up archives into parts, so you make a few dozen 10mb chunks, rename to.xyz and store the file on gmail. Someone will probably make a small program to automate all of this after gmail is available to the general public.
Then they should be denied use of a computer, or at least the Internet. We almost need a license to use the Internet, much like a license to drive a car. An incompetent user COSTS OTHER PEOPLE MONEY. From the spam to the viruses they're sending out, they're doing real harm to others. Just a few quick questions that ISPs could ask before allowing you to sign up. Ask what web browser they plan on using. Answers of "Internet Explorer" or "What's a web browser?" or "I don't know, my son just set it to use the Google." would raise a red flag, and too many idiot answers and service is denied, or add a few dollars tax on their bill. I know, I know it's unenforceable and what ISP would turn down a customer, but SOMETHING needs to be done. We can't trick people into being more secure for ever.
I'm sick of watching or reading reviews for games and seeing that they took a big hit in the score for not having online play. When did online play become the deciding factor for console games, when the majority of console owners either can't use it, or don't want to? Fuck, I mean Mario Kart DD was marked down on that mindfuck G4 show because the one guy said that it had poor multiplayer. WTF, he thinks that online play is it when it comes to multiplayer.
Online play in the consoles has not yet reached the level of affordability and ease of use as the PC enjoys, so it's not time yet to be comparing the two in terms of popularity.
As porn (fap, fap, fap, kinda porn) Playboy isn't really that useful. It has a small amount of pages with pictures and that's it, and it's ALWAYS softcore. So yes, it IS about the articles. If I wanted porn, I would just fire up whatever p2p client is popular at the time, right now eMule.
It is still not acceptable to use "piracy" to mean "copyright infringment" even in an informal setting. The basterdization of the English language for corporate gain isn't great at all, no matter how you see it.
The next thing you know the dictionary will be shrinking a little each year!
Kids will read passages from Mein Kampf and learn that the evil pirates can't help being evil, because they're lesser humans. The course will be finished up with a book burning of OSS Manuals and Linux CD's as the Copyright Weasel passes out Kool-aid to the kids as they cheer approvingly at the burning pile. The ceremony ends with a salute to the NEW American flag (a large "C" inside of a circle instead of stars) as they sing along with the NEW national anthem, a call to arms against all those who don't think a CD with 1 Britney song is worth the new price of $37.50
Call me a hopeless optimist... But, unless both the parents and those schools are doing absolutely nothing outside of brain washing those kids...
Remember the "Red Menace" of the 50's-80's? We've all seen the films they used to show kids in schools, and the information from parents, wasn't far from brainwashing the kids to hate anyone who didn't live under a Democratic Government.
Need a more current example? Just replace communist with "Terrorist"
PvPonline on LARPing
Only in Japan.

EULAs are not legal documents, you can not agree with them and still install the software.

I think they have surgery to fix that.
Go from this : to this . .

I have found a way to beat the Gmail ads. Just use a few key words in the body of your message, or in your sig. I use this for my sig:
---
Death 9/11 september 11th earthquake died
car accident - These words stop google from
showing ads with this message.
And I know that the person viewing my mail wont see ads.
No, I'm actually serious. They were not running before SP2, so SP2 either added them, or turned them on.
When I first installed SP2 there were a few new ones. alg.exe and wuauclt.exe that used a few mb each.
I was counting ALL the new security related processes added by SP2.
With the firewall, and the security center it was using an extra ~20 MB of memory that I need to play Doom3 faster!
Well at least she's patriotic.
Really? They lost money to piracy? Did the ships carrying copies of DooM3 get boarded and looted? Oh, your just spewing corporate spin, never mind.
Semantics. It doesn't matter.
Don't look down the barrel when it's loaded ;)

The moderates "Sarcasm Detection Algorithms" must need some fine tuning.
WRONG. That is a popular definition and not an acceptable LEGAL definition. Piracy is murder and plunder on the high seas AND THAT'S IT.
Say this:
"The GPL is to be respected, Copyright laws are not."
Repeat until learned.
eMule plus. Unless you listen to that pop/rap/hiphop shit.
