I have adwords on my website, if I even go to my own website, and spend the day clicking on all the link and refreshing the page to get new ads, then click on those, I get some money in the bank for those clicks, at the end of the year I could maybe get 100-200$. That is if I have the time to do this, now there are people smart enough to program a software that would do this automatically without intervention, and with delays built into the program....so as to not raise any flags.

This alone * how many people have ads, could ad up to the supposed millions lost in click fraud as per some stats have proven. I am not one to condone fraud, but I know how easy some peopl can think up new ways of stiffing the system. Now that you have that knwledge, I would suggest you

example... if Ineed a password for a website (sqlforums) and I know not to use the same passwords
over and over again, i can use a derivative, which means I use BRAIN to come up with a formulae that I use each time... hence the regular password (containing special characters AND numbers...) then
I add an abbreviation of the websites name...so hotmail could be hotml usually not too many characters as some websites actually have a maximum ( can you believe this???) to what a password should be ( 6 is the smallest I have come across!)

This works everytime, and also makes it easy to continue using the same password with derivative
    without compromise...

However, now that you know my formulae(damn it!) I must change it, unfortunately my version of BRAIN is only 1.0, therefor, will take me some time to upgrade to the latest version

Next off, how often do servers disappear...we are dealing with a client right now that had their main server stolen with much sensitive data...unfortunately for them, it contained so much that it now is involving the MAJOR legal authorities, however, we being the dedicated IT techies we are, are able to replace the server, and its contents within hours, so that people can continue working without any downtime...something we specialize in....so what does this scenario teach us....LOTS! : )
