I understand what you are saying, as well, interpretation of a long dead language, seems to me they meant the end of the calendar (meaning a restart) in 2012, not the end of the world...but this restart would affect everything in the world (theirs anyways) as all dates written now would have the 0.0.0.0.0.0.0.1 etc... so yes it does change the whole world, but not as prophets want you to believe the end is coming.

I so hate all the end of the world squabbles, over predictions, instead I focus on the real issues, like blowing up a crater in our moon to see if there is water deeper inside the moon, well I don't think trying to blow a part of the moon with explosives, when it's never been done before, so in space how much stronger is the force going to be...could it split a portion of the moon even split it in half, causing changes in our climate and tides, or even worse, too big an explosion could force it off its axis, and even make it speed downwards towards earth...these are the more pressing issues....who gave the US the right to blow the moon up anyways?

Ouch, are you way out there....with your generalizations. I agree that China wants to breed these type of easy to control, loyal weak minded supporters to their cause, but in fact I have seen a few Chinese being crushed and run over by tanks because they did not want to move and let the government dictate EVERYTHING for them.

Generalizations are a dangerous thing, especially if it blinds you into thinking that you know enough about just one "people" to effectively cast them off as being non important, or diminished, or even uneducated, and unable to think for themselves. Every people has their robots (ours has a lot of consumers in it, propelling our economy towards yet another plummet..this means you mr.bestbuy ) and every people has their leaders and thinkers.

I tend to want to speak seeing as I am a software developer who knows a few things about hacking, although I do not know enough about the Chinese or their government plans to help civilians hone their skills and reward them when they get something of value....however I do know our government works the same, especially when they give the worst fraudster of all (cheque fraud) a position with the FBI to help circumvent any further attempts at bank fraud.

  19. I agree a little too much... on Student Loan Interest Rankles College Grads · · Score: 1

I have a student loan, that the government seems to think that I should be exempt from being able to declare bankruptcy when big companies that already had all the incentives, and bonuses and bla, bla, bla, can turn around and star fresh the next day, after declaring
bankruptcy and with a smile, tell you it's all legal, well here is something legal for you, although it stinks for 7 years after wards.

If your goal is to start fresh, then you can take out a line of credit equal to the amount of your student loan, once you have been in the work force for awhile, and have been making a lot of money, then turn around use that credit to pay your student loan, and now you student loan, being paid in full is no longer subject to regular student loan crap, as now your loan is a full fledged loan which you can then declare bankruptcy.

There are flags you need to side step, you need to have been working for awhile, you need to make sure you have built up credit on the side and never missed payments, and then when you get pre approved for stuff, use it then cancel it after a few usage, it shows as traffic, good traffic on your credit line....then once you get a pre approved line of credit, start using that, and then by never missing payments, you will be able to get more and more, once you get the amount close to what you owe, you can use it
to payoff your student loan, then declare bankruptcy before the bank has any wind of it.

This might not work if you haven't been up to date with payments, or not pre approved for lines of credit, as this happens only when banks trust you, so you have to eventually do some good before you can do some bad.
    Sad, but true....

I don't recommend doing this for small loans of lets say up to 20 k, but a student loan like 80,000 is one I would work at like this for a while, and then go for that line of credit switch. Problem with this is for 7 years after that you have no credit, ...here. You can always go to Dubai and work there for 7 years, and then come back....lol
