That one made me laugh. I'm not sure which is the funnier word, enthusiastically or embraced.

Nice try making it look as if the industry was the one which ushered in the age of downloadable music. They did everything to stop it and when it steamrolled them over, they 'accepted' it and made it look like it was their creation.

I wish I could warp to another universe, Trance Gemini style, where there was no napster, no kazaa and no BT and look at how enthusiastically they had embraced it there.

Can we spell and type 'calculate' and 'product'? Yes, you bet your ass we can.

No one types, 'calkulate' anymore. If you know how to code, the least you know is how to spell words like product and calculate. The above is clearly made up.

If you have to insult Indians, atleast do it truthfully. And the next time, don't try to overdo the whole spelling mistake routine.

If that does happen then FF would have served its purpose. But since it's highly unlikely....

I think the major reason why FF won't die is because they seem to be always a step ahead of MS when it comes to 'testing'. As someone stated above, it seems that FF team knew about the vulnerabilities before they were made public. When was the last time MS knew of a critical flaw before a security company showed it to them?

And as stated above, another reason is the speed with which FF comes out with updates. You don't have to scream your heart out for them to come out with an update which has been true of some earlier MS updates. There will always be flaws. Software has evolved so much since PC's first came out but there are still enough flaws to go around. There's no reason to believe that there is any single piece of software or that there will be one which won't have ANY flaws.

  11. Pronouncable passwords don't need to be changed. on Enforcing Crytographically Strong Passwords · · Score: 1
Generally, when I recieve a password I go change it to my default or to something which is a slight variation of the default. Both of which can be guessed by anyone who knows me well, namely a close friend. However, when I registered on bazee.com (now ebay.in) I recieved a password along the lines, "greywolf39". Being me, I kept forgetting it and requesting a new password almost every week. I always got passwords such as, "closedog12". Now, I have reset the password through their system to one which I can remember. This has reduced the risk of my password being "guessed" by a friend or a family member, substantially.

So yeah, if systems are used to generate passwords using words that use commonly used words, people are bound not to change those which gives better security all around.

You seem to be forgetting the fact that your CPU takes that much power only when it's actually working, and not when it's sitting idle. So unless you got SETI running, your power bill shouldn't be that high. Ofcourse if you have SETI running, then it could also be the aliens drawing power from your computer.
