I think he needs to do a little more trouble shooting myself. Being a slashdot geek, I'm sure he has the spare parts to test some possibilities.

Mmm-yeah I'm going to need you to go ahead and put the new cover sheet on your TPS reports on CTSS ASAP. Mmm-kay. Oh yeah, I'm going to need to come in on Sunday too.
The signal really is a TV broadcast, when decoded they found out that we are the most popular reality show in the universe. The aliens threatened to cancel us because it wouldn't be real anymore now that we know the truth. So they are hiding the truth from us in order to save our pla%$%$^&%^&+++
Per running KDE user session, an NX server takes about 40MByte of RAM and 100Mhz of CPU. A current standard PC as sold today, with 1 GB of RAM and 3Ghz CPU should allow 25 sessions in parallel without any problems. It would probably get flanky at 35 parallel sessions.
I'm as pro Linux as the next/.'er, but this isn't all that impressive. I maintain a Citrix server a little less powerful than that and it supports over 100 sessions easily. But it is still a good start.
This means there's hope for me yet! I filed a law suit against Microsoft, since they stole a lot of my source code, but I'm not going to show it to them, or they'll take the rest and finally get Windows working. I'm going to win so much money!
I don't know... I usually buy cars that cost around $500. I don't think I'd want a $500 flying car. Especially since I can't go over 45mph in my current vehicle, that speed limitation would have a much more dramatic effect when dropping out of the air.
the one to get fp from space?

hmmm, their certificate, issued to SomeOrganization expires on 9/21/2004.
In soviet China, the government Googles you!
I would think with all the patches that need to be applied on almost a weekly basis that a Windows PC would not have an uptime of 49.7 days?
report of a new Internet2 land-speed record.

Or should that be lan-speed record?

from TFA:
imagine a blade center as offered by HP or IBM, to allow several hundreds of parallel sessions.
I couldn't have said it better myself.
I'm sure within a week the hamsters will form a union. They'll become so expensive, that we'll start outsourcing our hamster needs to India.

You are either loved by all or just invisible.
Everyone loves you, or they are too afraid to admit otherwise.
