If you choose to listen to Pandora on your iPhone, so be it. It would still be better to know that maybe you need an extra couple feet while I pass you, rather than know nothing at all.
But it implies that all apps can be hacked, which is clearly misleading. Saying "Some Mac App Store Apps Already Hacked" would be more accurate, but much less sensational.
The way you are reading it, it should say "All Mac App Store Apps Already Hacked" but they never said all. The way it is written only implies that Mac apps in the store have been hacked, which is correct.
What would happen if there was a suicide bomber that was caught with a child, and the child was the one with the bomb... Would we willingly subject our children to being searched after an incident like this?
How do you know they are? Unless you can prove, without a doubt, that you are acting in self-defence because there is actual, imminent and certain life-threatening events, you should not be firing a gun at someone with the intent to kill.
It's easier to prove when the other person isn't alive to discredit your story.
All I know is I hope they are BIG magnets... I cant wait to have a magnet next to my hard drive, might just have to lay it on top of the processor... The extra magnetism should help speed up my hard drive beyond any speeds known to man...
To expand on your comment... The military definition of portable is if two people can move it with vehicles, to include but not limited to a truck, crane, plane, etc..
""However, not every one of them is inhabited."
With you so far.
"Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds."
Does not necessarily follow from the preceding statement."
It doesn't have to follow the preceding statement. What he said is true, even though there are an infinite number of worlds, but not all are inhabited, and infinite amount of space, there has to be a finite number on how many worlds are actually inhabited. Considering there must be (to our knowledge) specific conditions to sustain life, and those conditions are very fragile, only a finite number of planets will have those conditions. For all we know, the ratio could be 1-100,000,000,000,000 for inhabited-uninhabited, or it could be 1-100... The more we find (if any), the more that number will change, and the more we can guess as to how many other occupied worlds are out there.
You know, I hate EVERYONE in this thread... once I started reading it, I started to notice the flicker on my monitors... *bangs head on table* MAKE IT STOP!!!!!
Maybe its just time for a smoke break... It could be too much work, trolling/. takes it out of you
While WIFI would be good to expand on, some of us must use cable no matter what comes out. I work in a building where we can't have any wireless device, cell phones, pda, pages, tape recorders, etc... So cable like this can come in handy, especially when we are so limited.
Im guessing they took that into consideration and have developed it to withstand physical damage and such. From the looks of it, it can be closed in a door and have no damage, and walked on with no damage. Hopefully you are wrong and they got this right so I can finally run cable from room to room and be able to close my door.
"Yes, I do know people who have a ring tone for everyone in their phonebook. Perhaps it is useful to them other than being a fashion statement (since caller ID also identifies incoming callers) but is it really worth paying for?"
Yes it is worth paying for to me... not my whole phonebook, but for a select few people like my wife and brother, they have their own ringer so I know to answer it... If my default ringer goes off, I just hit the button to shut it up until I feel like seeing who called, and since its in my pocket most of the time, I don't want to have to dig it out to see if it's important enough to answer
They will alert you if theres something that can be done, but if there is a problem with no fix you won't find out about it? I would rather know of the problem even if there is no fix so you can at least try to avoid it...
Dell buys in bulk, so they get everything at a discounted price, throw it together, and sell it to the consumer. I'm sure they buy the cheapest they can, while still getting a decent bang for their buck, and if the consumer sees big numbers for a low price, thats all that matters.

It's fine if they want to send you spim IMO, but they should at least limit it. If people don't want to get spim, they shouldn't get it. Like how the phone company lets you have an unlisted number, or you can "opt out" of spam emails...
It only takes one person to predict it correctly...
Maybe I should read the article.
Silly man, if you want to read articles then you should go elsewhere...

I have the need to travel, and I have children. I don't agree with what happened, I was offering another viewpoint to enhance discussion on the topic.

Just download the patches, dont install them, burn them to CD, reload from image, install patches...
