AT Christmas I often send out copies of Windows XP Home on Dell Desktop computers. I also include Microsoft Works but no Firewall or Anti Virus software. Occasionally if asked (and only in writing) I include a number of expensive games which wont work on the cheap hardware inside the dell box.

I dont normally have any interest in Blogs in any shape or form - however the photos in the first link are stunning (and I am no keen photographer either)
I am now considering putting all my old family snaps online (not so/. readers can crush my bandwidth - not that you want to see me sat on a beach in Spain! ) so that members of my family and friends can look at them and remember good times past...
I have been in the same situation - it was regading spamming.. it sucked!! - fortunately enough when I told him that (all be it in a kiss as "your the boss" kind of way) he took notice.... I have since changed jobs somebody (who hates spam less than I do) may have written this for him since... who knows... we werent in the business of viagra or penis extensions though...

Or I could just continue to buy the albumns that I like??? instead of downloading crap music for free just because I can (many of my friends and colleagues do this!)

There are so many infected / hacked machines on the net now that putting a pc on the internet without a firewall is just not clever.. MY ADSL linked Windows XP box gets logs about 60 attempted hacks everyday!.. they are welcome to it though.. I only use it to play halo!
Marlboro announce new stripped down cigarettes. Just small & cheap enough to be attractive to kids. an insider has revealed that this is a new ploy to avoid people being tempted to start on cigars and pipes.
This is another example of trying to get people hooked into their products... now if only Linux was available in stripped down cheap versions the world would be a better place

yeah - the access 97 / access 2000 thing is a pain though.. esp when you have a load of new pc's in the office which come with Office 2k on them and all the old ones have Office 97... forcing us to upgrade?
very true.. my brother in Law was a server tech at a large uk company... when he started he was very into the job.. worked long hours etc but was paid well for it... about 12 months ago he started looking a bit depressed / bored/(very pale those overhead lights make us all look like vampires in the uk) and said that the day to day grind and time spent working away from his wife / kids meant that he didnt get the chance to enjoy the money he made other than a 2 week trip to Spain each year.. He has since quit and has started training as a plumber.. the work may not pay as much... he may still occasionally work long hours / weekends but to be honest he is like a different person... - it is looking more and more attractive to me as each day passes..
