Meanwhile my g3 toilet seat is still working, my g4 ibook is working, my 3rd gen ipod, my iphone 2g and 3g are working great. Then again, so is my inspiron 640m, my dimension 2400, my dell 2005fpw monitor.
You know what? Most of what I have still works, except for a couple hard drives. Maybe you just treat your purchases like crap?
I can verify the paper trail myself when I vote. I fill in a black line with a marker and put in a scanning machine. It reads it it then drops it in a tub and I get a receipt with a code on it it. I can go watch them empty the locked tubs and watch a hand recount if it want. I can also watch the locked ballets sitting in a jail cell if I wish (in the case of a recount).
This whole tax from the state it comes from/tax from the state you live in needs to be decided (federally) and set in stone once and for all. Same goes for who collects it and when.
Durability was only half the argument, size was the other. I have an iphone and it is about the limit, size wise, of what I'm willing carry in my pocket. I've used all the larger screen android variants and no one I would carry it around.
Maybe I'm odd in that regard though. I don't carry a wallet, just a money/card clip, a pocketknife and a phone. Anything more and I'm looking for a place to dump my crap.
Super insulating can cause a lot of moisture problems too. My aunt/uncle "super insulated" their house and started running into bad mold problems. After a few thousand more dollars upgrading ventilation and heating/cooling, it was okay again.
No one in range of me has 802.11n so it's not an issue. I'm running dd-wrt on my wrt54gl, so it is ready, but my cable modem doesn't support ipv6. It's some thompson/rca deal.
Give me a a break with the partisan crap. We were out of money long, long, before either Obama, Bush, Clinton or even Bush Sr. took office.
Those little blips on the economy timetable of falling deficits (and debt) were the equivalent of a bucket brigade trying to save the Titanic. Until we have real economic change, change that neither party is willing to provide, we will keep sinking.
Perhaps. I can pick up ~12 routers from where I'm sitting (at home) and all but one is a broadband-company issued router. The SSID is always insight_xxxx and secured, the other is belkin54g.
So from what I can see, no one manages, or buys, their own router anyway.
How often do you think people swap out their routers? I've been using same one since late 2005 and see no reason to upgrade (no, 802.11n is not enough of a reason).
Nope. The 2nd gen ipod touch and 3g iphone can run iOS4 but won't get this upgrade.
Ahh, "sheeple". The key word to let you know that the entire argument is worthless dribble.
Perhaps you are the lesser-brained individual for watching said screen.

More people than linux, even on this site I would bet.
I don't want his smug holier-than-thou bullshit grin on my clothing. Wikileaks I can support, Assange I can not.
A lot can happen in 31 years, including an entirely new generation that is very pissed off.

Banning late-night gaming is pretty silly, but I have to admit, it makes me laugh to think of the WOW players sweating the night out.
World of Warcraft players are ridiculous.
Yes, I am aware that it is not Java. I stand by my statement.
That is all.
As I always reply when reading this. It says promote the general welfare, it doesn't say provide.
No defending Sony, but I'm putting this out there.
The person who takes the bribe (or campaign contributions) is much more morally bankrupt than the person offering. Joe and Orin could have said no.
I can't blame Amazon at all for this.

It's a toy or tool based on how it's used, like most other things.
Don't know really. It makes sense though.
I have a very well insulated house with leaky windows. Sucks.

I quit using them after breaking them off (three times in total).
Nor should it. A company should be able to block, or not block, anything they want on company property.
Not following... Your point?
I never yelled, cursed or even spoken to my computer. I don't tend to speak to inanimate objects.
