  1. Re: AMD and TCPA/DRM Summary on Intel Claims No DRM · · Score: 1
I was meaning them. They are slowly turning our computers against us.

Unfortunately I have grave doubts for our side. We have too many people who think " Well.. damn.. that's a bad situation. But I'll just wait for someone else to fix it for me."

  3. Eclipse very slow after loosing focus for a while? on Netbeans 4.1 Released · · Score: 1

While I previously used Netbeans (3.6) and liked it, I have since moved to Eclipse (3.0.1) and love it. The large amount of plugins and comstomization of Eclipse just makes it the winner in my book.

However if I alt-tab away from my Eclipse window for a while then come back to it to do more coding, it seems to be reloading itself and acts very slow for a minute or two. It drives me crazy.

Any idea what the heck is causing that? Is there some memory cache setting that needs tweaking or what?

I have personally found Smugmug a good site to use.

The fact that I can just upload my originals and it does the rest with regards to resizing them to 3 different sizes (small, medium, large) plus with a nice interface with no annoying adds. Plus no size limits and good site speeds are a bonus.

Warning:LINK WHORE! Yes yes, feel free to check out my gallery if you wish. :P I recommend the airshow!

Well congrats to Ben. All the best at Google. But I do wonder how Firefox could be MORE integrated with Goggle?

I mean.. you start it up.. you have google at the top right, and if you use the default home page, you will link to the google search engine. There are google toolbar plugins available. What else can there be?

Should be interesting to see what they come up with...

When I did my research for a new TV a few months ago, picture quality was the highest piece of criteria, I ended up settling on a 116cm widescreen Sony Rear Projection TV and have been very happy with it ever since.

But everyone has asked me why didn't I get a LCD or a Plasma! I always responded with "nah.. the picture quality is usually shithouse." only to be met with blank looks.

Nice to see other people generally agree with me that LCD and plasma, although while "lite and thin", still need a few more generations before the picture quality is acceptable for those who give a shit.
