I was meaning them. They are slowly turning our computers against us.
Unfortunately I have grave doubts for our side. We have too many people who think " Well.. damn.. that's a bad situation. But I'll just wait for someone else to fix it for me."
I think I can summarise the above post by the following:
"Execute Order 66"
Eclipse very slow after loosing focus for a while?
on
Netbeans 4.1 Released
·
· Score: 1
While I previously used Netbeans (3.6) and liked it, I have since moved to Eclipse (3.0.1) and love it. The large amount of plugins and comstomization of Eclipse just makes it the winner in my book.
However if I alt-tab away from my Eclipse window for a while then come back to it to do more coding, it seems to be reloading itself and acts very slow for a minute or two. It drives me crazy.
Any idea what the heck is causing that? Is there some memory cache setting that needs tweaking or what?
I have personally found Smugmug a good site to use.
The fact that I can just upload my originals and it does the rest with regards to resizing them to 3 different sizes (small, medium, large) plus with a nice interface with no annoying adds. Plus no size limits and good site speeds are a bonus.
Warning:LINK WHORE! Yes yes, feel free to check out my gallery if you wish.:P I recommend the airshow!
Well congrats to Ben. All the best at Google.
But I do wonder how Firefox could be MORE integrated with Goggle?
I mean.. you start it up.. you have google at the top right, and if you use the default home page, you will link to the google search engine. There are google toolbar plugins available. What else can there be?
Should be interesting to see what they come up with...
When I did my research for a new TV a few months ago, picture quality was the highest piece of criteria, I ended up settling on a 116cm widescreen Sony Rear Projection TV and have been very happy with it ever since.
But everyone has asked me why didn't I get a LCD or a Plasma! I always responded with "nah.. the picture quality is usually shithouse." only to be met with blank looks.
Nice to see other people generally agree with me that LCD and plasma, although while "lite and thin", still need a few more generations before the picture quality is acceptable for those who give a shit.

So at 6'7", I'm taller than 99.9% of the world population?
Wow.. I feel so... bloody tall.. :P

That reminds me.. Episode III is out soon...
Of course I have not RTFA, but imagine the power spike if a future mega tsunami washes over these electical generators!
"Yes, buildings about 1 to 2 kms inland are all wasted, but free electricity for a month! wahoo!!"
Wow! What did you type into the google engine to get back "Victor.. you are a dumbass!"?

Will the robots also be able to fall down and scream in 'agony' when the opposition barely nicks them in the hope of getting a easy penalty?
HA HA!!

Oh yes.. that is much better!
Hmm now that you mention it.. maybe get the inner workings of an asimo but make the shell look a bit like one of these dolls...
Looks like they are slowly getting better..
Should be interesting once the robots start looking like Robin Williams or (gasp!) Haley Joel Osment.
Hmm..
Wow. this is awesome! Yet another reason why Firefox rocks.
Now I wonder if we can use the local Australian weather site to get this information... Hmmm
As a fellow Aussie, it's good to see the government doing something reasonable for a change!! :)
Wow.. that's a lot of money for a repair mission!
Surely there could be some money savings if they examine exactly what that money is all going towards? (ie less admin costs)
I know it would cost a lot to get it in and out of the lower earth orbit, but $2 billion?
Just smells a bit fishy to me...
You dare insult my 17-40L?!? o_O
:)
Bah.. begone nothingness!
Heh. what lens do you have?
NEVER!!!! Canon L glass all the way baby...
Just had to get in the last word!
Wow.. it's been a while and not many comments..
Could it be that everyone is off downloading Firefox from the currently struggling mozilla site??
GO FIREFOX!!! :)
Tis cool. A lot of Qld'ers prefer XXXX, for reasons I cannot understand. *shrug* life goes on. :)
Yes you are correct, Fosters is the usual cat piss in Australia. But is apparently brewed better overseas (go figure)...
XXXX is only marginally better than Fosters mate. :)
Cascade or Boags Linux would have my vote. ;)
Anything to attack Microsoft is good!
Go firefox!
Let's see:
Pro firefox - ding!
Anti MS - ding!
Good slashdot post! :)
78.5% of all statistics are made up on the spot...
CONGRATULATIONS! You are on the TEAM! :)
