A couple weeks ago, I did a clean install of stable Debian to replace my 2005's Debian installation with KDE v3.5.10 (awesome). I was upset with KDE v4.4.3 and I remember reading that it was supposed to be better than early v4 releases. Not for me!
I tried the default Gnome v2.3, and it was OK. I like it more than KDE v4.4.3. However, it is not good as KDE v3.5.10. I read about Trinity that is a fork of KDE v3.5.10. I would use it if it had a lot of support and users, and a good future.
Oh and I hated Unity in Ubuntu's live CD.:(
It seems like all these new GUI designs suck!! Ugh!
I never had blocked YouTube videos with ABP with multiple subscriptions. I have had other places like Flash games that don't load due to blocked ads.:(
I waited for KDE 4 to be better, but I still don't like it (v4.4.3 from stable Debian). I still prefer KDE v3.5.10. I read about Trinity, but will it be popular and supported? For now, I will use Gnome v2.3.0 (did not like v3). Sheesh, a lot of these newer GUI sucks.:(
With my client's three years old MacBook Pro and Mac OS X 10.5.8, he needed it for some weird Adobe format (forgot which it is). It was like an interactive book/slideshow.
I couldn't get into KDE 4 (v4.4.3 with stable Debian) after being a loyal KDE v2 and v3 user. I kind of like Gnome v2.3. I don't want to use Trinity KDE since I am not sure hown well it will be supported in the future.:(
You forgot a letter in your reply's title. ;)
And that is?
Just like me after 30 years. :(
IE8 for XP will probably be forever and the final IE since MS won't do IE9 for it. MS is trying to get rid of old XP.
I like your typo (there). :P
I wonder why? Do adults not care?
No apostrophe. ;) It's = It is.
Get off my lawn, whippersnappers!
Did v4.7.3 changed a lot from v4.4.3 in terms of design and usability? That is the problem I had. v3.5.10 was way better IMO.
Ditto for me too even though it sometimes suck to have older versions even with backports. :(
Hopefully, you have a backup!
Also, time for a SSD. ;)

What did they say? Did they send you more spams? ;)

Is the reactor going to use Windows? Is that a good idea? :P
Ugh. [sighs] I finally redid my customization. It better not go away again.
When it is aired, then Discovery will have big ratings from this!

I seem to be losing my RSS feeds and other customization in my /. account. Is anyone else noticing this or just me? It happened twice today so far.
I also noticed Reddit is having problem right now. It must be a web site problem day. :(

DOOM 1 shareware came out on 12/10/1993. ;)
Resume's what since you have an apostrophe? :P
Which Symantec class was that?
