Also try non-native resolutions in LCDs. They look crap with them. Also, brighter colors (graphic work). I will stick with CRTs as long as I can even if they are big, heavy, and use more power. Too bad most stores only carry LCDs today.
I am still using 802.11b as well. However, my WAP only supports WEP for security. I still use cat5 network cables for realiabilty, speed, and security. Most of the times, I have the WAP turned off (sleeping, out, etc.). I would have to replace/upgrade most of my network cards if I want WPA, speed, etc. for wireless. It is not worth spending. I will just wait for my WAP and others to break. I just don't have the money and free time even if I had them at this time.
Well, for me I just don't have time to play any games these days. In fact, I have about five game demos I need to check out. Being older can be difficult. I was addicted to WoW during its stress test, public beta tests, and beginning of its release. I stopped playing WoW back in February 2006. I hope to come back to it. Also, using WoW game cards (I don't pay online) help too.:)
Yep, I know that feeling. At my workplace, it is crunch mode month. We have to work this weekend (Sunday for me since I have to go to a wedding today).:(
I just hope MS can improve their OS if they are still aiming end of this year for business and 2007 for consumers. Currently, I wouldn't want to use this OS at all.:(
Yep! I always did in UNIX, Linux, Windows, etc. I found out wthat I was supposed to use cmd.exe, not command.com. Thanks to the previous poster for catching that.:)
You still need ATI and NVIDIA for gaming in Linux with 3D support.
Ah. I thought its myth was about its memory lasting for about 3 seconds. It was a long ago that I saw that episode. It was a good one.
I found a YouTube video clip of what happened the goldfish. [grin]
Sinking Titanic, Goldfish Memory, Trombone Explosion. Episode Number: 11 Season Num: 1M. Adam and Jamie had to train their goldfish to do race.

I have two CRTs (Optiquest 15" and Samsung SyncMaster 763MB) and they already blurred from their old ages. Isn't blur normal from old ages?

I enjoy those cheesy and funny American beer commercials even though I don't drink alcohol.
You already have these types of faults: heart attacks, seizures, illness, dumps, etc.
... planes on a snake? [grin]
Ditto, and I don't have any moderation points to mark it funny. :(

So what happens if he threatens to run away, suicide, and/or being violent (killings)? I have seen that happened (not related to WoW and gaming).

Oh, I thought you meant you didn't believe me that I didn't see RC1. Gotcha. Misunderstood, that's all.
Heard? I have the latest Vista builds. LIke I said, I use them at work for testings. Do I need to screen capture to prove it?
Actually, all of these are high end Optiplexes (e.g., GX280). Do they use the same type of RAM?
Hahaha! Well, we will f**king your new OS up. [grin]
Nope, I am not at your company. I am your competitor though.
It seems OK in the latest build to me. I do remember the annoying UAC prompts in the past for similiar tasks with Start Menu.
Heh, yeah. Nothing I can do because we use Dell at work a lot. I am using one right now to type this post. :(
Yeah, I was just told that in another reply. Thanks. :) Big oops from me. Funny how I never really noticed that.

Oooh, that explains why I had problems. Thanks! I didn't know they were different (never noticed). :)
Here is what even funny. Co-workers have Dell machines (Intel Pentium 4 CPUs) with 1-2 GB of RAM, and THEIRS run slower than mine!!
