I also buy nvidia because of their WINDOWS drivers. ATI's (in my experience), are like HP's printer drivers (awful), and nVidia's JUST WORK, and overclocking is easy.
As/. reminded me, textbooks don't work very well in computer programmming classes. By the time you purchase them, they will be outdated, so I find that worksheets or packets work much better, and I can fit them to what I want to teach, not what someone else wants to.

I have a 720K (!) SIMM on my keychain, and before putting it there, i just put a little superglue under the chips. Looks pretty cool and after 4 years all the simms are still there.
