Maybe his win has to do with the fact that the vast majority of aussies live near the ocean.
How many white people would you see?

I bet if they left something like that on they'd have to lay off the minorites. In Tulsa, latinos are labeled the same as whites when they get booked. A camera may be more truthful.
Ever watched 'Cops'? Anyway, I could point a webcam into an alley and call it drug dealer cam. That doesn't mean everyone it shows is a dealer.
I'm not entirely for it, either. It would be a nice way to see whether human rights are being violated, though. You could watch the number of minorities arrested vs. white folk.
Agreed. Knowing that it would humiliate someone, he might jump at the chance. Not everyone in jail is afraid of being caught breaking the law for some reason.
I mean.. They have the same article from a different year. That makes me think it was a mistake for it to be up if it ever was. If they were hiding something why would they leave the old article about the same subject there?
That was statment was based on the list of related articles. That helps put the present article in perspective. Linux has positive attributes, but they didn't seem to be reflected in any articles in the list. That makes me think the articles may be unbalanced.
The people using terms like "M$" and "FUD" are not trying to pass themselves off as unbiased.
The e-mails were part of discovery for the court case. That means IBM knows and has known about them for quite some time and yet continues with the countersuit and case in general without settlement.
Did you notice that all of the related articles about Linux have a negative slant? They also didn't link to IBM's reply to the charges. The article is surprisingly useless.
Maybe, just maybe, they're jerks. (girlish giggle)
I mean.. I know "airing regional games outside of their market" is dangerous to the fabric of society and capitalism as a whole, but I'd like to send 'Office Space' to my sister. It seems wrong for an office worker to have never seen that movie.
I'm not so sure about that. I know a lot of people that were online and instant messaging before they could type well. After a while you just figure it out.
It's like... the best way to learn a new language is immersion. When you have to speak it in order to communicate you learn it faster than in a classroom.
I really shouldn't try to do math before coffee. It all started when I was converting miles to kilometers.... On the bright side.. it's correct on my website.
Do I get brownie points for recognizing that 7.9 billion is a bigger number? That's about the best I've done today.
They know that the majority of cases will be invalid and won't make it to court. The only thing they need is fear just like other insurance compaines need the fear of death/illness/fire/accident....
If they blow up a few figures to create that fear they may get more business.
Now that dial up users are a minority they'll whine about being repressed by the broadband majority.

There is a camera in the cop car that pulls you over. Anyway, a defendant could use the footage to prove mistreatment or abuse.
Why would they leave the old one there and take down the new one? That just doesn't make sense. It seems like a mistake to me.

Someone tell me I'm right. I'm never right.
I think /. may be wrong on this one. This article is about the 2000 Olympics.
This article is about the 2000 Olympics. I wonder if that's the one we're talking about. Whatcha think?

To me, that means the rumors have no merit.

Darn.. typed too slow.
I took a one semester typing class in 6th grade.... I think the old BBSes at 2400 baud helped my typing the most.
Do you think Bill Gates will buy an "I'm blogging this?" T-shirt?
There would be a few of us, but there would be a lot of 'not if you were the last nerd on the island' talk.
I'm sure you see the importance of stopping people that run Linux from playing DVDs. Go FTA!

Mercury is at most 222 hundred thousand kilometers from earth. Messenger is traveling 7.9 billion km.
I know that there is no other good way to get it there, but I just find that interesting. I hope it has something good to read on the trip.

so like.. we're looking at the past and future. That's far out, dude.
It's silly, but entertaining. News agencies spend a lot of time/money on speculation of this sort because everyone wants a crystal ball.
If that weren't the case *real* news may have to be reported, and where's the fun in that?
try ctrl-n... you can recalculate normals to the outside and it normally fixes those kinds of quirks.
