Maybe, by denotative definition. Stick "resolution" into Google and realize the rest of the English speaking world considers the X by Y pixel counts (and it's equivalents, like 1080p) to be the resolution.
So, how is one supposed to test moving a host around without fucking about with the DNS server now, too?
Used to be I could just stick overrides in HOSTS for the reported nameservers or whatnot and browse/use the host normally, to confirm it works before throwing the switch at the registrar.
What, are we supposed to ask IT to temporarily modify zones that aren't even in their zone of authority now? Or are we just supposed to throw the switch and see what happens?
1. We're talking about emotional patents in this here thread.
2. Men can and do develop breast cancer. It is not female exclusive, as men have breasts - they are just not fully developed. It's not like testicular or ovarian, where it's exclusive to an organ the other sex doesn't have.
Apparently French was used (still is?) for international treaties... because it is exceedingly precise. Now, I don't speak French so I can't actually confirm this...
Ambiguity helps to prevent exploits. It's impossible to fashion a law that truly considers every possible circumstance. Giving judges the ability to employ some common sense is a good thing.
That would be great, except for Eastern Texas and friends.
Well, given that there are approximately 50 trillion cells in the average human, I think you could get away with some MPAA/RIAA numbers to use, here...
Lets be clear (pun intended): higher DPI screens. Resolution is only half the battle. What good is 1680x1050 if it's on a 30' screen? Much better on a 15" I'd say.
I... don't think you understand how these Anonymous guys work.
They are doing it for no benefit except themselves. Because they want to see Sony burn, in this case. Just because they might be attacking someone you don't like doesn't make them your ally.
Do you not understand how threaded posting works? Whether or not it relates to the article is less relevant than it's relation to the person you are replying to.
Unless you're some kind of wierdo who just butts into conversations with totally nonapropos statements.

He didn't mean "work" as in function for end users. He meant "work" as in "get us a bunch of cash."
So, you asked a PHB about something not related to BUZZWORD_OF_THE_DAY? Surprise surprise he had no idea what you were talking about.
OK, what does that have to do with Microsoft and shilling? Is slashdot fucking threading up again or something?
Er... I'm trying to be flexible here... but I don't even get a shadow of the joke. WTF are you talking about?

Have you seen the firewall that comes with the Windows 7 generation? It's no iptables, but it can do the job now.
If the analogy doesn't fit, you must (shut the hell up)
Damn tablets. Get off our lawns.

Federal court of appeals...
Civil court? What?
Well, given that there are approximately 50 trillion cells in the average human, I think you could get away with some MPAA/RIAA numbers to use, here...
I can see it now: emotional patents.
... I... I can't believe I did that. I think I'm used to seeing it as AAA (anti-aircraft artillery)
OK - but what does that have to do with AA batteries, London, or the Paralympics?
Lets be clear (pun intended): higher DPI screens. Resolution is only half the battle. What good is 1680x1050 if it's on a 30' screen? Much better on a 15" I'd say.
er... what?
But, to offset that, you can track the (not so) little bastards by radar.
Where might you suggest we go? The bastards live everywhere.

It makes perfect sense when you realize the rape allegations are just an excuse. But you knew that, having just pointed out the CIA connection.
Yes, because the semantics really make a big difference. Everyone watching will know what happened and why, so they might as well just storm it.

Hi! I like pork!
