Technically, I think it's per computer. You need to pay for an actual copy of the other OS version of the game, but there is no DRM or any such nonsense to prevent you from using it as you see fit.
<SPOILER>If you are good enough, you can grab a rock (or other heavy object) and beat it unconscious... at least long enough to get far enough away). Of course, make sure you barricade that door extremely well, or it will get through and make your life quite tense for a while. </SPOILER>
Yea... I really wish people would wise up and knock that shit off.
It's not that the users or webmasters are really at fault - it's the programmers who write the underlying code that think such things are acceptable - the people who should know better!
I've got a torrent up to try and help mirror some large content (Blender Underground's "Blender Basics") - It's using the Pirate Bay as a tracker, as they seem to be reliable.
Is that likely to change?
Are there any alternatives? Does anyone know of a good, speedy tracker that has a low risk of shutdown (preferrably a moderated, or legal-only one)?
I'm confused as to what the "£" is supposed to be? I'm assuming that you are listing pounds, so then why is Slashdot prefixing that extra character? The pound draws fine!
(note: when I put the pound symbol myself, the wierd A is prefixed as well. so copy/pasting the parent results in even more screwed up data.)
What the fuck slashdot? What the hell are you doing that makes these kind of bugs possible?
"What people tend to forget is that using ASCII as game graphics, you can do a lot more in-depth gaming without having your game look like crap."
The problem is that some people consider ASCII graphics to look like crap, just by their virtue of being ASCII.
That said, it gives you the power to work on the gameplay etc, and you can later on put actual graphical tiles in, if you wanted. So long as you make the logic "portable" enough, you could even go so far as to put the game into a 3D graphics engine, and it would play the same, but (obviously) be presented in 3D.
Why is it so hard for people to grasp files and folders?
You have a folder. You put files in this folder. You may put other folders inside this one.
Really. Someone gives you a confused look, throw a couple manila folders in their face and ask them to put paper in them. Then, if they continue to be confused, slap them.
Yea, and I like how the "Files and folders confuse people" comes across. Seriously, if files and folders confuses you, you might want to reevaluate your need to use a computer.
1. Cleanup. Hell of a lot less trouble. 2. Prolongs it. Lets you enjoy yourself a little more.
Now, if you want to do it right, I suggest you go buy yourself a fleshlight. Since your not getting any real sex, you might as well have what fun you can get. Holy shit those are worth the cash.
You're kidding right? There's humor all over the place in Fallout 3. Most of it is passive - you have to be observant and notice. "Hey, whats that over there? Oh my..."
For instance, a dead Protectron sitting on a toilet. In the bowl, is a pile of scrap metal. It hardly jumps out at you, but if you are paying attention you will notice subtle things like that.
You are more than welcome to create your own root domain, and do what you want. Nobody makes you use the structure controlled by ICANN.
Fool! A stack overflow can, by merits of exactly what it is, lead to code execution!
How many bets the police get to bypass that control?
That is useful! Thanks!

Now, have you actually played the game? Longer than 5 minutes?
You quickly realize how well done the "UI" is.
Heh, single dog.

Fortunately, It's easier on the wallet than the results of running Windows!
Pulseaudio should never have been. Don't blame Linux for Canonical's insistence that the horrible kluge called Pulseaudio is installed by default.
I've used GeForces under Linux since 2002 - several card models on several successive machines. I've never had this problem.
Perhaps you should consider that you may, possibly, have a hardware problem, that is just more exposed under Linux?
Don't be so quick to blame the OS. How many systems have you had this problem on?
Yea... I really wish people would wise up and knock that shit off.

I remember there being a Bioshock-style back-lighting to interactive items with that on...
Me, I turned that off. I didn't have any problems finding things, but then I'm usually pretty observant about these kinds of things.

But if you do that, than it's no longer an "ASCII" game, it's something completely different.
That wasn't my point. My point was that most people consider text representation to be:
1. Old & Busted
2. Ugly
3D doesn't imply a first person perspective... at all.

OK, a little explanation:

Hell, I'm running the current development stream of Slackware64 and KDE4 here works better than the pile of crap they slapped together in Kubuntu.
Seriously!
This isn't even a snapshot. This is the edge of development.
"RTHDRIBL"
I'm sorry... do you need a tissue?
Now, the really good solution:
Wear a condom.
Why? Two reasons.
Fission mailed!
