    Making games cheap enough for that demographic to afford... that would be a very wise move.

    Why bother with a nuke? You don't need anything approaching large yield to take out a satellite. A standard Air-to-Air warhead would do the job fine...

    People generally don't talk on the cell phone when they shower... and if you have a camera with you in the shower/bathroom, something funny is going on already.

    Beyond making it far to noisy to hear (or be heard), most cell phones don't do well in the presence of water.

    Neither does Ubuntu.

    Just get rid of pulseaudio, or remove it's executable permission. Everything falls back to ALSA silently.

    Hrm, I smell a new DoS vector.

    Attack DLLs used by common commercial packages, and watch as productivity drops to the floor.

    1. This will satisfy the aim of such attacks
    2. This will quickly show how innapropriate such measures are

    Hopefully #2 above will happen as a natural course of #1, and teach the vendors not to be such dicks.

    The problem however, is that most of the KDE folks are working on 4.0. Don't expect terribly much attention to 3.5.

    4.0.0 is NOT a final release number. It's a major revision number. See the x.0.0 part? That's the important part!

    Remember KDE 3.0? Compare that to 3.5.

    "KDE 4.0 is the innovative Free Software desktop containing lots of applications for every day use as well as for specific purposes."

    This does not mean the windowing system. This means all the KDE 3.5 applications that are installed along with the 4.x stuff.

    There is no reason the licence needs to be in 'legalese' instead of plain english. Just be careful that there are no loopholes in interpretation.

    Ah, but you have to stop or slow down on approach to Mars, if you plan on staying very long. Ion engines might not cut it - and anything more powerful (as above) could be problematic.

    As well, the ISS doesn't have the shielding required for interplanetary travel - so we either need to shield it, or move it as quickly as possible (unless you don't mind dead astronaughts and damaged materials)
