    That was a TARDIS-based translator. The Sycorax spoke in Sycoraxic during the Christmas Invasion for the entire episode but it sounded like English once the Doctor and the TARDIS were finished with their regeneration.

    Nope, the highest configurability is always in text mode, whether it be a config file, about:config on Firefox, or the Windows Registry. Pretty pictures only get you so far.

    Physical workout is one of the most annoying things in the world and doing the majority of your socializing in the gym is the one stupidest thing I can think of. I'd rather be a WoW addict and I hate WoW.

    I doubt OGame ever had to deal with server loads the size of WoW's, and OGame is also a browser game and doesn't need to apply patches like WoW does. (That being said, compared to NGS and other games of the same strain, OGame felt a bit simplistic)

    Actually, all the GPL says about selling stuff is that the source can't cost more than the binaries plus a small amount for physical distribution. Whereas it has a clear clause against this sort of community fragmentation. It's why the Novell deal talks about Novell customers rather than Novell itself--if it talked about Novell itself it would be a GPLv2 violation. Good thing Microsoft doesn't understand how community forks go in the world of GPL.

    You're getting it confused with the cycle where a science-fiction author makes ridiculous claims about environmentalists in a fiction book and the new Slashdot which stands for corporate imperialism eats it up like their SUVs eat up oil, and then accuse any government that does anything other than corporate subsidies, selling ourselves to China via the national debt, pork, or invading nations on claims of chemical and nuclear weapons when the only chemical weapons in Iraq are our white phosphorus of nannystatism which must be stopped in order to make government 'leaner' aka more corrupt. Maybe I should just do this, though.
