I would like to help out Myth as well, but I also think that for them to want money for this service, they should offer more than the free services that are already out there. I see on their page that there is more going into it, which is great, and I will be sure to check it out then, but until then, the free service does just fine. If I wanted to help out the MythTV project specifically, I would rather donate directly to them.
Besides not filling out surveys and having local movie times, there doesn't seem to be much difference between this and Zap2it. I can live with filling out an occasional survey and going to my computer to look up movie times. Maybe when the service offers more, I will think about it.
.....would pay $30k for a kid. Offer $300, and we will talk.
Hey, that could get ya a decent mp3 player.
Besides, I can hire professionals to paint my house for me for cheaper... errrrr.... yea, I love kids.
Yes! There is an army reserve base by my house, so sometimes I see those covered army trucks or whatever. When I see one, I think, "I could totally steal that and sneak into the army base!"
I would take a break for a while, and head up to the store to get some snacks and a pack of smokes. I always had the urge to go to the counter and say "vendor buy." Good thing I never actually said it, I can't imagine the looks I would have got.
I get horrible emails from teachers all the time. I thought that teachers may know better, but apparently not. I see things such as, "THE COMPUTOR IN ROOM 243 DOES NOT WORK AT ALL CAN NOT GET ANYTHING IT FREEZES UP AND ALSO HAVING A HARD TIME LOGING ON." I have completely lost faith in the public school system.
It would be nice for the schools I work for. Our helpdesk system is dependant on ActiveX (bleah), therefore we also have a huge spyware problem. If we can set it to only use the IE engine for the helpdesk, and Gecko for everything else, that would really help us out a lot.
It has been drilled into our heads, ever since we were in elementary school, that we live in the greatest country in the world. Maybe people should actually open their eyes, and take a look around. There are plenty of other countries that are just fine. What about Norway? Or Canada? Japan? I am not saying to go and move somewhere else, or that the U.S is the worst place to live, but there are other places. Maybe we should stop believing the bullshit that is pushed into our heads without questioning it.
I don't know about everyone else, but I drive a 12 year old beater that likes to stall every once in a while. That would be a real bummer if it flew!
Seriously though, people would really have to keep up on maintenance, so personal flying cars would have to be for a select few who have the time to keep up on everything. I have a hard enough time keeping my girlfriend up to date on oil changes!
Apparently Kapersky just saw some arabic and hebrew language sites saying to carry out internet attacks on Israeli interests. There is crap like this all over the internet all the time, hardly nothing new.
I think I am going to file for a patent for the words "E-Terrorists" and "i-Terrorists.";)
They are going to have to shut down IRC, tons of stuff being traded on there. Oh, also AOL. I don't know about now, but there used to be all kinds of Warez flying around there years ago. Shut down the web, there are warez websites around. Oh yea, I bought some pot over the phone the other day, better shut down the phones.
"People should wear protective sun screen, sun glasses, sun hat and drink plenty of water in order to avoid these inconveniences - but, if somebody were to sue me for damage provoked by the Sun, I do not think any court would be that unwise to consider their claims. By recognizing that I am responsible for the damage from the Sun, the court would implicitly recognize that I do indeed own the Sun - which is ridiculous".
Sounds like something that Douglas Adams would write about, earthlings trying to own everything they can, heh.
I work for a K-12 district, and before we even think about considering linux, we need more educational software ported over. We would need Renaissance Learning products such as Accelerated Reader and Star Reading ported over, or something comparable to come out (Which would be really hard, teachers are really attached to AR). We would also have to be able to run those stupid little kids programs that a teacher will pick in the bargain bin (I haven't actually tried to run any of those in Wine, but try walking a teacher through that). All in all, I think schools will probably be one of the last institutions to adopt Linux on a wide scale.
But sometimes it can work out for the better. About 4 years ago, I bought a digital camera from there for $299. I figured technology would advance, so I came up with an idea. I bought the 4 year service plan for $49.99. Last month, I went to my local Best Buy, told them that my camera was draining my batteries (the camera used AA batteries), and that it needed repair. Of course it wasn't exactly true, but they said they would send it to their service center or whatever. Sure enough, a couple days later I get a call from Best Buy, telling me that the camera is too expensive to fix, and that I have to come in and pick out a brand new camera for the same price as I bought the original. So now I got a nice new up to date camera.
I must be one of those "Demon Customers" eh?

What stunt did Badnarik pull? I missed that one.
Google cache here.....
In other words, MMORPG players are spending 4x as much time online as non-gamers
Uh, well, it is an online game, so I would imagine they would indeed spend more time online than non-gamers. I could have told you that.
What about some comebacks? Such as, "You can pry my torrent out of my cold dead cursor."
They say this like every other day now. Not a big suprise.
Or maybe I am the one in charge of bandwidth.
I am above the law!!
Gloops hairgel and combs hair over
Where I work, shoutcast is blocked, so I use this instead. I don't know about spyware, that is certainly an issue I will keep an eye on.
I feel bad for whoever tunes into my broadcasts though. Must be strange going from Tribe Called Quest to Cannibal Corpse.

So, does this use the same access as SuSE Enterprise Server, and if so, can I use the same username for the two?

LOL!!! U Stoopid!!!!
(Written from a Windows PC, but you knew that already, I'm sure.)
