This is by far the most stupid thing I ever heard, do you think that "rich" mexicans like México the way it is??? Rich people have to live under 15 foot walls, with survalence cameras because, bodyguards, they are afraid to get killed, robbed or kidnapped, maybe for you a kiddnaping is something incredible, but for the rich people in Mexico is a reality, something they have to face everyday. In Mexico people are afraid to get a nice car because they know that it can be stolen in a bilk of an eye!!

This project it's almost over due the corruption of mexican authorities and the companys who provided these services, theres a big investigations at federal level, where are contracts for more than 100 millions dollars, and the new administration canceled a lot of contracts.
This was a very good project but the corrupction is very powerfull, the people from OLPC should see this example, people in countrys like the USA don't have the idea what the corruption can do!!!!
I'm not complaining about the job that I have, I complain about the people how are americans don't realize the luck they are.

I'm mexican and I have a 4 years college degree in Computer Sciences and guess what??? I'm an illegal inmigrant here in the SF Bay Area, I enter legaly with a turist visa but my 6 month permit have expired, I don't want to start a discussion about the immigration issue on the senate the Minuteman, Lou Dobbs, Tom Tancredo, etc.
I have post my resume a lot of times in a several companys and they are very interested in hire me, but I have been turn me down for my legal status, now I work in fast food!! for 6.75 USD an hour, yes belive it or not!!!
It really bug me that people "americans" who have all the opportunities in the world would like to go to other country. iIf you are an american just tink about the luck that you have, because others like me would like to make at least 10 or 12 dollasr an hour or sleep with out the fear of being deported any day!!
I took 2 courses of Operation Research and It took me a lot of time to solve the simplex method, I aprovve my courses but It`s not very easy to understand the hole concept of linear programming.
