Surprised no one has commented, but HotU is currently down and has been for a while, looking at it's wikipedia article. Does anyone know what's going on anymore, since even www.the-underdogs.info is down.

The devs time would be MUCH MUCH better spent improving combat, improving the storyline, improving balance, and actually working on what makes the game fun.

Boy, that's what I'd call immersion. A better immersive storyline, improving combat so it's more believable for immersion, improving balance so you can be better immersed...

I would prefer it if retailers could "harmonize" with all the taxes so it comes out after tax at an even $16 so I don't have to fish for change or get change back and have a jingly pocket.... (or use my credit card)

  12. Science Teacher on NPR & The Modern Media Distribution · · Score: 3, Interesting

To be honest, my sciences teacher (Yes, that's right, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Principles of Tech teacher :P ) is an absolute NPR junkie. I would say the reason he uses the podcasts and other materials available on the website is that it's easier to present to the students than telling them to listen to something in advance on a Friday of all days! (I've recently started listening to NPR on the radio on the way to and from school and I can see why people like it, but it's too bad its only a 10 minute drive.)

  14. One thing on Help for an MMORPG Addict? · · Score: 0

One thing that has gotten me off many games (and I've heard it helps other people too) is finding a private server or setting one up where you are GM. After you can summon the best sword in the game and run around doing everything, you wonder why you bother spending so many hours to get a weapon that doesnt even get close to the stats. It works for single player games too ... cheating that is, not just upping a few stats here and there...
