his resignation doesn't take effect right at this moment. He merely typed: Take_This_Job_and_xor_Shove_It.sh
This launches an automated Gentoo install under Qemu. Upon completion of basic CLI install, vi is used to compose the final draft of the letter that will be copied into a new message created in a freshly compiled copy of pine, that will be sent to the TPC Project for Faxing to MS's H&R department, whose fax machine will promply crash...
Which system is poorly emulated on GNU/Linux or on *BSD?
Vintage video game systems. I just find the emulators available for windows tend to be updated regularily and have better GUI's (one of the few instances I actually prefer one over the CLI).
I've used a few good emulators under Linux, but all in all, I've had better results under windows as of now.
Are the programs in question ported to Cygwin? Or are you referring to proprietary software?
I use Linux about 90% of the time, but the 10% that keeps my system a dual boot is
1. Games
2. Emulators
3. Certain accessories (multi-memory card reader for one)
I also like keeping windows around for testing. I often find myself in the position of helping my clients choose which software to buy for a particular task and, since they aren't interested in switching over to Linux at the moment, it means they'll want windows programs. It helps to be able to try out a bunch of program demos without a problem instead of hoping they'll work using WINE.
If ever there was a movie that could be used as a sting by the MPAA, SWIII is it. A large group of people downloading a file that has been reported by all the major news sites in the last day. The MPAA isn't stupid and I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find out that the MPAA is taking down IP's of everyone who is downloading/seeding this movie.
We're so outside the mainstream you could put every character from all 6 SW films in some of the bars downtown and they wouldn't even be the weirdest looking ones there.
In addition to the other games mentioned, I remember 1944 getting particularly bad @ some points (though being a shooter, you could use it to your advantage sometimes).
I'm sure other people have noticed the changes in MS during the last year or so. They're opening up more and more of their code, SP2 attempting *cough* to help security, and now perhaps, a new version of IE instead of "IE is being integrated into longhorn". MS is being forced to get off it's ass and fix it's products instead of charging for bug fixes every few years.
The events of the last 6 months have made me determined to get as many of my family members to switch to Linux as possible.
is micro management.

*ducks*
Thankfully I live in a country that's joining the fight and reducing pollution, the good ol' United Stat....
oh wait...
Damn, just when I was getting spoiled by the quick release of Sarge!

You could just go to http://btefnet.net/
Link for those who haven't seen it.
Of course, that would bring back memories of all the Street Fighter II versions that came out...

Now I can run every game under MAME @ full speed.
