    Seems to be a implementation issue with certain manufacturers. Rolling codes are reasonably secure and have been for a while.

    That's my point, but many have compared this to DRM and then it raised the question whether or not piracy on the Xbox is that bad.

    Don't forget, these cars are rated not just for ideal driving habits, but ideal driving conditions. MPG drops drastically once you get over the 60mph mark. My truck gets closest to the EPA rating when I'm doing 60 on highways, but 70-75 on the interstate puts me further from the rating.

    Is piracy really that rampant on the Xbox? Seems like every time I've heard about a new hack, M$ has been quick to fix it and ban hammer those exploiting it. You can't even clone a factory HD to a bigger one and pop it in without getting busted.

    Right, they're looking at the screen and it defeats the purpose of voice activated hands free. I use Siri for quick texts while I'm driving. "Tell my wife I'm on my way." Siri says something about sending a text and "Ready to send it?" "Read it." Siri reads it back. "Send it." If Siri is having a deaf moment, I'll leave it alone until I get to a red light or I'll pull off the road if needed. Like condoms for birth control, voice activated hands free is only safer if done right.

    The most durable laptop I ever owned was a Lenovo Thinkpad. Took about 7 years of abuse being tossed around in my laptop bag. It got 2 cracks in the LCD bezel the last couple years I used it. Other than that, no problems.

    You can find copies of Win7 around. My dad asked me if you could still get a Win7 machine, to which I answered: refurb with a warranty. Next machine I buy will involve me looking Mac vs. Linux, who is winning the software/gaming availability and support.

    My town has 2 Blue Angels shows a year and its huge for business, especially the show on our beach. It's one of the busiest weekends on the beach as people will try to get out there but end up sitting in traffic all day and some miss the show doing it. I hope all businesses who benefit from air shows are coming up with other events to support themselves. I'd actually still go just for a civilian air show (don't get me wrong, the Blues are cool) since you see different planes, pilots and stunts every year.

    Hahaha I was thinking the same thing. I administer a small office server and you bet your ass I update it and reboot it for updates. I do like seeing a long uptime (windows machines can't touch) but that uptime wouldn't mean anything if the machine was compromised.
