Weren't there reported chupacabra sightings that were proven to be coyotes with severe mange in 2004? It's even been listed in the wikipedia article for years. It must have taken a lot of work and quite a visionary leap for this biologist too look at wikipedia and come up with this "theory".

I was in a PVP corp for a while where we used chain armor reps and one of the guys refused to fly with people who didn't have a full set of slave implants. While I didn't read the first two, I did read the last one, you know, the main topic for this article which said "That seems to be what happened last night when there was a relatively small blockage. It appears now that users in China are accessing our properties normally." A small outage that lasts one evening is definitely what I'd call a hiccup. Yes, China has a horrible history of censorship, but they've been steadily improving by a considerable margin. The fact that they're playing ball with Google at all shows that.
Which in turn would only hurt the very stupid criminals, and the law abiding citizens. Any smart criminal would be sure to disable the system before they use it as a getaway vehicle. And, there will always be ways to get around things like that.
Yes, but is it really stolen if you call the owner and offer to give it back? And then you do give it back as soon as they ask for it? They have to convince a jury that this was theft. I'm kind of curious as to how many found items the police actually put up adds about and how many just get cataloged and thrown in storage. Or where they put the adds if they do put them up.
I've seen several times where a media organization printed something that resulted directly in people being killed. They don't usually care as long as it sells. In this case, it was someone they knew so they did their best to keep it under wraps. A similar case where they hyped something because one of their "own" witnessed it is that airplane that landed in the Hudson. It was all over the news for months and the pilot even ended up getting an invite to meet the President. The same thing has happened many times before with little to no coverage.
While I was in the Air Force, I had a security clearence and had to go through the same background checks. I told them from the beginning I had smoked pot before and had no trouble. That's not the issue. The issue is if you lie about it. If you lie about anything and they find out about it, that's when you fail the check. There are other things as well. If you have people you talk to from certain countries. One person I worked with failed his check because his ex wife was from one of those countries. He did eventually get his clearance, but he couldn't work for a while. Doing the check for everyone may seem excessive, but anyone who works in the same building that classified information is kept in could potentially pick up classified information.
Not my aunt, I don't know what it is, but she always wins when she goes to the casino. She goes pretty regularly and I've never seen her go without winning at least $200 just on slots. It's crazy.
When I went on to Walmart, they replaced the seal on the watch when they replaced the battery. It's no diving watch though, just a regular Fossil and a different seal may be required.
They'd make laptops that don't die after a year of normal use. I speant about $2K on a Viao AR-260 early last year. It only rarely left my apartment and was never dropped or abused. About 2 months after the 1 year warrenty expres, it just dies. Won't even power on.
The real question is "Is the road actually all their property?". Apparently, this "Private Road" has a street sign and has several other houses on it which would be an indicator to me that it's public. Unless the peope sueing own all the land sirectly around the road and have it gated or clearly marked "No Trasspassing" where someone in a car could easily see it, I can't see how they have a case.
