Since when? WIRED was one of the few magazines of it's kind when it first came out. WIRED still manages to be a (i) succesful and (ii) interesteing magazine to read.
Why, pray tell, does WIRED "Suck"??
Thankfully, he was able to make use of the DBES that is built into that car.
Oh, there wasn't a Driver Bowel Evacuation System in that car?? That's gotta be a mess...

Cool little article, although, I have heard of synaptics before - actually L-O-N-G before. Anyone who installed Linux on an old HP laptop can tell you that!
I was all excited about getting to see this in a theatre, but no...closest to my is NYC and that is over 500 miles away.
Gah! Hopefully it will do well and more theatres will pick it up.

What China is doing is a far more intelligent way to go about this. Why does the US seems to be getting behind and China to be getting ahead in some areas like this??

The Viewsonic models are not Wireless Monitors no matter what they try and tell you. I sell them, they are WinCE based (most of them) PDAs. They let you control a Windows XP machine from a Terminal inside of WinCE.
Basically, they are Wireless Dumb-Terminals.

Actually, I was going to vote for Tyson Chicken Patties...

Well, there is a HUGE difference between a Touch-Screen overlay and the Pen-Aware Hardware that Tablets use. Recheck your sources and get back to me.
Take it from someone who has dealt with Wacom and their pricing for Overlays used in Tablets - It Ain't Cheap! Sure, you can go Non-Wacom...but why? ;)
