    My favorite service has been Meals on Wheels. They deliver, have a huge menu, and are VERY low cost!

    I'm sorry, but thinking that DVD even in a cartridge would be a good alternative to proven tape backup is silly.

    Bit-rot happens on optical media. Doesn't on tapes.

    Can someone please tell me why we are letting the MPAA (or any **aa for that matter) draft legislation? Isn't this a step beyond lobbying?

    I understand that it doesn't mean it gets passed, but I don't think coporations should be drafting legislation that would extend the power of a Org. like the FCC that will benefit themselves.

    You get a +1 Missing the point in my book.

    It is not understood, nor is it generally accepted that I have to support your "right" to have a website. You run a business online? Then your product (product!, product!, product!) should be able to support your business and its advertising (your website - hey, look at that!).

    Wait, your website is you product? Great, then charge for the content. Content not worth paying for? Then it isn't a viable product, now is it.
