GHETTO DRUG LORD
(eating with chopsticks, to iPhone owner)
Grab a seat there, boy. Want some dinner? Grab yourself an egg roll. We got everything here from a diddle-eyed-Joe to a damned-if-I-know.
IPHONE OWNER
No thanks.
GHETTO DRUG LORD
No thanks? What does that mean? Means you ate before you came down here? All full. Is that it? Naw, I don't think so. I think you're too scared to be eatin'. Now, see we're sittin' down here, ready to negotiate, and you've already given up your shit. I'm still a mystery to you. But I know exactly where your ass is comin' from. See, if I asked you if you wanted some dinner and you grabbed an egg roll and started to chow down, I'd say to myself, "This motherfucker's carryin' on like he ain't got a care in the world. Who know? Maybe he don't. Maybe this fool's such a bad motherfucker, he don't got to worry about nothin', he just sit down, eat my Chinese, watch my TV." See? You ain't even sat down yet. On that TV there, since you been in the room, is a woman with her titties hangin' out, and you ain't even bothered to look. You just been starin' at me. Now, I know I'm pretty, but I ain't as pretty as a couple of titties.
IPhone Owner takes out an envelope and throws it on the table.

I'm not eatin' 'cause I'm not hungry. I'm not sittin' 'cause I'm not stayin'. I'm not lookin' at the movie 'cause I saw it seven years ago. It's "The Mack" with Max Julian, Carol Speed, and Richard Pryor, written by Bobby Poole, directed by Michael Campus, and released by Cinerama Releasing Company in 1984. I'm not scared of you. I just don't like you. In that envelope is some payoff money. MyiPhone's moving on to some greener pastures. We're not negotiatin'. I don't like to barter. I don't like to dicker. I never have fun in Tijuana. That price is non-negotiable. What's in that envelope is for my peace of mind. My peace of mind is worth that much. Not one penny more, not one penny more.
To borrow a hackneyed cliche: "Sex is like air, it's only a big deal if you're not getting any"
regular sex does little to cure depression.
More likely, the depressed individual will reach for any sort of escape (sex, drugs, alcohol, other) to alleviate said depression.
I think the "starter episode" should be "Wasted Talent". That will bring the appreciation of what FG was trying to do, and makes a lot of the other stuff more accessible.
The jokes built on each other to the point that anyone following AD through season 2 thought it was brilliant, while newbies couldn't get what the fuss was about.
It was also the best show on television for a time despite that failing.
One of the most major problems of Microsoft is their utter lack of drivers for new technology.
This was highlighted in Vista - remember "works with Vista?" Well, I bought into the hype and installed it in my newly built Death Star.
But guess what?! DRIVER INCOMPATIBILITIES! It must have been a memory leak or something, because when I turned the thing on "low" and aimed it at Alabama (that'll teach you to deny my MBA application!), rather than disintegrating the state, it covered it in peanut butter.
And not nice smooth peanut butter, either. Some extreme chunky variety that really didn't harm Alabama at all.
Two distinct genealogies for Mary, with a differing number of generations. Matthew and Mark I believe? May be Luke.
How about when man was created - before or after the animals? The J thread and the E thread contradict each other right in Genesis.
In fact, tons of contradictions can be found just by following the J vs E threads in the OT - Noah is another easy one (was it 2 of each animal, or 2 of most animals and 7 of some others? J and E contradict each other here)
He states he doesn't want to be in a relationship (states reasons, which is opinion), and then you burn him by telling him he can't sustain a relationship!
But it does make me look at a lot of the development positions in the trading industry in a little bit of a different light.
I'm in the wrong industry vertical.
This method's fine if dilution works, but specific gravity still fucks you I think.
Japanese companies sound more than generous! Ask for an inch, and they give you 100 yards!

(with NO APOLOGIES to Quentin Tarrantino)
Did he do a parody of Pesci's speech in Good Fellas that I'm unaware of?
+1 history

Mostly it doesn't work.

I was kind of blown away because that seemed way too smart/subversive for such a low-brow show.
In voice acting - mila and Brian (forget who does him) are on a lot of Robot Chicken eps.
Well played, AC.
You failed your Perception check for humor. May have been a critical miss, in fact.
Ah, thanks for the clarification.
My kitty update posts are the most popular on my blog, sometimes even garnering a comment!
FF is ON no matter what, unless there's an sv_cheats to disable it. . .

So fuck you, Microsoft, and your shitty drivers.
I don't do it very often at all; I think I pirated 5 albums in 2008, and no games
Honestly, I wish I'd pirated World of Goo. It was way too short for $20 I thought.
Pretty much the only app I wish I could have on my linux box, and have spent time looking to replace (unsuccessfully)

YOU MUST BE A GREAT LAY
Or if you are, you haven't read the Pragmatic Programmer yet. . . they talk it up quite a bit.
Full Franklin Quote: "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!"
I'd bet dollars to donuts that they're not ruled by fear.
