Whoa whoa whoa...stop with the VT bashing.

The truth is, Vermont really is paradise, but we only project things such as high welfare rates, little job growth, unreported crime, etc. to keep those damn flatlanders out of our state.

Since I've been a VT resident my whole life, I've seen the state before it became the welfare-ridden, high-crime (relatively speaking), place that it is today, but until all the flatlanders move out of Burlington, we'll keep up this white trash facade!!!

This is the worst interview to ever be on slashdot, and I'm even counting the Shatner one.

He doesn't even begin to do a little bit of basic research before replying with "I dont know what that means" to several questions and moving on. He provides no insight into his own personality or character and sounds rather uninteresting.

And he's a fucking stoner. Jesus fuck.

Here's a couple links below about the mid-90s Fantastic Four series. I recall watching them on FOX, back to back with Iron Man. IMHO, the early/mid-90s Marvel animated series (X-Men, Spiderman, Iron Man, Fantastic Four) were the best that Marvel has pushed out so far, at least in my lifetime.

The United States government would never meddle in the affairs of other countries...

    ...oh, wait

But seriously, are you saying the US government has the power to concern itself with the exportation of any space technology, even if the technology originated in Japan, for instance? Or are you saying that it can only concern itself with the exportation of space technology by a US citizen, even if they are in a foreign country?

Who will defend the LiftPort Group's rights to their platform?

Maybe it's the Libertarian in me coming out, but couldn't they defend themselves? I mean, no one government has any jurisdiction on the high seas. But seeing that LiftPort is based out of Washington, and this isn't a "perfect" world, I'd assume that the US government could possibly step in and defend LiftPort if it was ever attacked. Or they could simply tell LiftPort "Hey, you built your project in international waters, and you did not want us involved, so you're screwed!"

Most Americans are too busy or too involved with their own lives (not always a bad thing) to get involved or concern themselves with the goings-on of their government. By indifference and inaction, we're only cutting our own throats!
