Nearest earthlike planet... considering a trip to the nearest earthlike planet could take hundreds, thousands, even millions of years, with limited resources, you can't really expect them to live that long. Or expect the ship to last that long. Something's bound to happen to the ship or it's systems.
It would make a good reality show though, real world, andromeda galaxy!
