I disagree. I am clearly smarter than you, since I can read, and you merely come across as a Nintendo fanboy - not a bad thing in itself, but certainly nothing to brag about, and not really adding anything to the conversation.
The point of my post was to make fun of you, in a humourous way, and to waste a little time at work. I achieved all of this, so thanks.
Agreed. I like blue, but purple is a close second.
See what I did there, started the post with the word agreed, but then went of talking about something completely different. Why should I waste time reading the article or the posts, just pick one at random and say what I came to say.
Yes, how rude of them. Just because it is a new service, doesn't give them an excuse to not have it available to the anyone in the entire world? What sort of crap is this, this is racism at its worst. Amazon pandering to the US and no-one else!
Give them a chance - it can take ages, even if the tech and support is there, for the legal stuff for each country to be worked on.
Unfortunately (or fortunately probably) there is no RIAW.
What a load... This was actually one of the more informative news snippets, apart fomr the fact that it doesn't actually say what it is (a movie download site). You can manipulate the posters inability to spell as much as you want, but it is clear from the last word of the post, that it is some kid.
For a recent job I had to learn coldfusion. So I went to some sites for help with different problems from time to time, and they were full of questions like this, ranging from how do i get coldfusion to work, to how to do this simple little thing, to can someone get this code to work for me - all from Indians.
I know there are a lot of great IT people in India, but there are also a lot of crap ones. I take from this that the good ones are employed, and the search for more and more IT programmers is coming up with a bunch of fools.
Though to get fair, the IT people I have worked with in the UK have mostly been art students who can edit a html page (These are people who have an IT degree, but have never taken an interest in computers, simply following the money trail)
Sure, if everybody read the slashdot comment at the same time - which I am pretty sure does not happen. Of course, even discounting this, people react differently to funny slashdot comments (I usually react by pressing the submit comment just before such comment is posted!).
Not sure what Janets incident has to do with any of this? Do that many people get excited over Janet? Do that many people watch the superbowl on their computers?
If it fails, then maybe hollywood would reconsider their strategy. Maybe the would realise that we want fair use of the things we buy, the ability to back things up and lend them to people.
If Blu/HD succeed, your way, we are only putting of the inevitable, as next time they will be ever more restrictive.
Hollywood need to realise how much ordinary consumers are suffering/ will suffer because they are chasing after the pirates, who will provide a debatable amount of money in actual sales anyway.
Once, somebody was wrong, therefore everybody is wrong?
Once, somebody talking about a new version of Windows was wrong, therefore everybody talking about a new version of windows is wrong?
Once, somebody warning about a problem with a new version of Windows was wrong, therefore everybody warning about a problem with a new version of Windows is wrong?
You could say it took millions of year to reach 1 billion connections, since hasn't all of mans endeavours, from fire and the wheel to radio and transistors been moving towards creating mobile phones? Depends on how you look at it.
Well there is analysis, and then there is analysis. If this is good analysis, which actually provides some useful information that can be used to improve firefox, then good. If this is bad analysis, as it may well be, then what is the use, except for someone to advertise there program, and to make people think that firefox is no good.
At&t takes the privacy of out customers very seriously
From the documents you linked, this really made me laugh. What a joke, at&t. It is almost like hot potato, where you trying to get rid of your customers data as quickly as possible, to all comers.
I think that when she got her cheap nose job, they accidently pushed something into her frontal lobe. There is no distinction for her playing corporate games than the average kid playing halo. The end justifies the means.
Maybe we can have maths and physics questions - sure they will learn, but this is a good thing. We can underhandedly teach kids maths and physics around the world. This could be the problem to schooling.
There is nothing like watching a show, and knowing that 1000s of other people are also watching it. Knowing that you aren't the only one, that somebody else somewhere is enjoying the same experience, adds something. You must have felt it. It is like going to the movies, but the movies are the size of the USA, and the food is cheap.
What he is saying, if that there is a possibility for this to be abused. What is the difference for search for a vulnerability in a html page (ie some malicious javascript or activex) and searching for some text...nothing.

And you are still a cheeseball!
There must be huge costs to getting all the equipment to Hawaii, compared with mainland USA.
Yes, the world has changed in 20 years. Welcome to reality mac guy.
We in the PC world have seen for a long time games pushing CPU technology (with GPUs).
Ibm still make serious business machines (IBM big iron), see the other post today about IBM making the fastest mainframe with POWER chips.
Agreed. I like blue, but purple is a close second.

What are these checks and balances you speak of? Every 4 years we get to kick someone out! Is that it?
In soviet UK, Cliff Richard lays you!

Why was this ironic?
Fucking moron.
So what is your logic?

Sorry, can't make it work anyway you spin it.
You aren't an IT manager, are you?

You must really love those home shopping channels then.
I actually hate all tv, but can't be stuffed doing anything else when I get home. Really need to get more motivated.
Couldn't you set it up so that it checks new users posts for urls? And kick the off on this basis. This wouldn't be too hard to do.

What is the square root of 2 then? And no approximate answers.
Not only Europe, but Australia http://www.smh.com.au/news/games/no-playstation-fo r-christmas/2006/09/06/1157222189890.html/...
(and probably many other places)
Now they are really in trouble.
There is no article. I guess we are still waiting for the first of such people to take an interest in wikipedia.
