I for one can admit that I was much more likely to purchase a PS3 after hearing of Warner Brother's move to Blu. And I love being able to make fun of my co-worker that bought an HD-DVD player and now says he bought it simply as an up-converter...hahaha yeah right!
Ok I'll officially start a rumor I heard...Supposedly we weren't supposed to hear about this shootdown at all but apparently it got leaked? Yeah I know I'm like a 6th grade girl starting talk like this but who knows...
12 people living in a Boston apartment. 6 of them from the Writers Guild. 6 of them from the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. Every room is filled with tv's that cannot be shut off and air the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air 24/7. Who'll crack first?
I actually remember when I dropped mine back in sixth grade (circa 1991) on my way to the bus stop. I remember turning it on and I had lost a whole row of pixels about a fifth of the way up, the whole way across the screen. Despite the lost pixels, the thing never had an issue playing games!
So I wasn't the only one trying to figure that out. Fourth Night maybe?
Either way, I haven't had a land line in 5 years or so, nor do I plan to start wasting money on one now. Seems like a downfall in their "system requirements" if you will.
Now that we are going to have "copyright infringers" going to jail, what are we going to do with all those criminals that smoked pot? Lord knows we need them to be kept in jail. They were all just waiting to murder someone.
I've got an alternative? How about a reality show called "Copyright Island". See what happens when 10 copyright criminals are put together on their very own island, without internet access and an unlimited stack of CD-R's.... Watch the insanity every Tuesday at 8:00 PM. Patent pending.
I agree. I used to watch The Sarah Conner Chronicles on Monday (I think). Now that it's on Friday, I still watch it on Monday or Tuesday.
I'm positive I'm the only 192.168.1.100
This whole concept just made my head do something funny inside.
Right - and LittleBigPlanet made me paint my friends with ducks and flowers.
sorry apparently the sarcasm didn't come through.
Rumor has it that the once free IM service is now going to a $.10 per sent or received IM message.

No DNS queries from XP in a IPv6 only environment? Hmmm...that seems kind of important.
I like how every single bullet point is followed by "Seek immediate medical attention".

While I do agree, this is kind of a red herring.
Is this related to the Comcastosaur that evolved into the FiOSaurus Rex earlier yesterday?
I am just waiting so I don't buy the equivilent of a VCR/Laser Disc player/walkman. I wish one of them would win already!
Ok I was going to ask too. What does this say in Laymens terms?
Does anyone see a dotbackslash.org coming? If so, you can say you saw dotbackslash.org on slashdot.org first!
Ten times fast now!
I agree. Microsoft Windows: DRM Edition. You just wait and see.
Hmmm Good Point. The story still holds true with the addictive action changed.

Does this mean that a new breed of mice will not be concerned with Who Moved Their Cheese?
It's not my fault pot and GTA are so fun together. Now if I could just focus on the damn missions.

I heard Google and Amazon have both approached him with offers already. "The One-Click HIV Removal" Patent is underway.
