Removing the 17.5% VAT, the price is about 67pence. Which is about $1.21. So you are complaining about a 22 cent difference... And do you think Apple should be adjusting the price when the exchange rate changes? Right now the dollar happens to be really low. What happens when it gets higher? Apple would have to raise the prices. Do you want that?

Yes, all the APIs are marked AVAILABLE_MAC_OS_X_VERSION_10_0_AND_LATER with most of them having support in CarbonLib 1.0, ATSUnicodeLib 8.5 (Mac OS 8.5). Nice to see longhorn might finally be catching up.

The limit exists on OS X (at least) because of a limit of the Resource Manager. Each message in the mbox on OS X has its index and other data in the resource fork. One for each message. There is a 16-bit limit on the number of resources in a file (and a 16meg limit for the entire resource fork). It is also why some OS X developers keep asking apple to FREAKIN IMPLEMENT NAMED FORKS ALREADY!
It's amusing especially considering that this SDK was written by someone that seems to have NEVER developed on a mac. Its naming conventions and other things are unlike any of Apple's other sample code for the PC (which largely follow mac coding conventions).
So the conclusion seems to be some PR junkie (or Apple DTS employee) wrote this PR thing and sadly didn't know what COM was so they just reiterated what they were told by some person that told them what it was (but didn't know either).

Uhm, I've got about 5 mailboxes that have hit this 32760 message limit (dunno why but they recently reduced it to 32000).
My Mail folders contain 2.31gigs of email. Mail cannot handle this and chokes on it horribly. Eudora handles it like a champ. Too bad its junk mail filter sucks.
And FWIW, The Sasser worm seems to ONLY exist because MS fixed an exploit in lsass then immediately documented exactly why it happened, where it happened, and basically how to exploit it.
What's wrong with just saying, "We fixed an exploit discovered by someone at some company in this component of the operating system." ? Need bugfixes also give information on exactly how to reproduce the bug? Open the farthest right menu so it becomes sticky, move the mouse to the right of that menu in the menu bar (the menu will close), press the right arrow key on the keyboard.
All this shows for this season are long done. Some of the finished ones will not show until next season. There is usually a 8-11 month lead time on the show's production. Audio is usually recorded 8-11 months before the show is completely animated unless they need to loop new dialog in. That is why they covered their mouths on the superbowl episode "Sunday, Cruddy Sunday" and no so that they could reuse it the next year.
If Berman is on the team potential to suck is 98% (2% ok factor). If he has nothing to do with it whatsoever, potential to suck is 20% (80% potential to own Kirk's sweet ass).
