I have a 17 Inch AlBook and have absolutely no problem using it in coach. In fact, it's easier to use in coach than my 14.1 iBook was because it has a smaller height. Granted, it is impossible to use the tray table, but my AlBook has plenty of spare room to sit drinks on.
This is extremely normal. They cover the new aspects of panther and the hardware capabilities. Sometimes they slip up and a session reveals more than it should before the keynote on monday.

I was in the middle of a game of MegaMan and Bass but I had to take a shower and didn't want to play the GBASP in the shower nor did I want to start all over from the beginning of King's tower. So I just plugged 'er in and closed the lid while I took a shower. Although I do wish it fell asleep when the lid was closed like the PowerBooks/iBooks.
When the Backlight is on the screen gets all hazy from too much reflection and glare from it's own internal light. Also, let's not forget you have to pay extra to get a headphone jack. That extra accessory makes the GBASP a little less portable than the previous incarnation.
Not that easy sugar. Unless your mac is set to sync with a time server (mine is) and off date can mess with a lot of services. Especially things like cron jobs that backup, erase, and restore the HD (hey, it could happen)
Brands are hot and geeks/nerds are historically wimps. Same goes for a tattoo that says "NERD"

Adobe is just pissed at Apple for purchasing Final Cut Pro from Macromedia and then competing against Adobe's Premiere (and some say After Effects). Not only did Apple purchase something from Adobe's main competitor but they also made Premiere look like an embarrassment.
Have you ever compared FCP to Premiere? FCP wins no-contest.
Why base clones of Microsoft? I mean, seriously... even though we are in the digital age software design based on the design of other software behaves more like analog copying in that it gets worse with each generation. Linux and things like Evolution (Ximian) are the 4th generation! (Xerox Parc->Apple->Microsoft->Open Source)
This is not a good thing! If you want to do it right, hire some decent designers that know nothing about programming (would hate to polute their creative minds with knowledge of code) and get them to draw up the designs. Have some usability labs. Hire your mom, grandmother, or neighborhood AOL user to do some ease-of-use tests and don't get angry when they complain or ask for help.

Apple did not have an all PPC version of the Mac OS until Mac OS X. But even Mac OS X doesn't use all the features of the PPC processor (RTOC).
Mac OS 9.2.2 has 68k code in it. The window manager IIRC.
