When Paul Graham published the article in 2007, Microsoft has around 46 billion $ in revenue. Now Microsoft has around 78 billion $ in revenue. Looks like Paul Graham was the moron - the article has crossed 6 years to get vindicated.
There is no such thing as bad publicity. Their act led to this article posted on Slashdot and may be of other tech forums. I am sure the number of people who know what is SSAC has increased many fold after FLLU's action. Mission accomplished.
I own a HTC and don't have a HTC account. Google acct is the only account I am forced to have because I won't be able to access Google Playstore otherwise. I don't see any reason why I need to have a google account for downloading free apps from the playstore. Own my desktop CNET/Downloads etc don't force me to create an acct for downloading stuff.
I faced the exact same problem with playing bridge - I realized there was a particular threshold I couldn't cross. I tried to figure out why & found out that I have very average spatial visualization skills.
Deal with it. No one is forcing you to work with him. The great thing about FOSS and the Linux kernel is you can fork it all you want. You can take your ball and go home.
Unfortunately for Sarah, the fact this is FOSS makes no difference. She works for Intel and unless her bosses make a decision to fork, she has to continue working in her current role unless she quits the job.
Hence telegrams were used by people who wanted to contact people without telephones urgently.
Also telegrams were common during weddings even upto 10 years ago. People who were in cities other than were the couple were getting married typically sent their best wishes to the address given in the wedding card because people won't be at home on that day to pick up the telephone. And telegrams had 20-25 numeric codes for standard messages which made it cheap to send telegrams. If the message you wanted to send was one of the standard 20-25 messages you just send the number as the telegram rather than the message. The receiving telegram office would convert it back to the full message before delivering.
Cell phones essentially killed both of the above scenarios. And cell phone in India is massive as compared to land lines ever were.

James Hacker: I occasionally have confidential press briefings, but I have never leaked.
Bernard Woolley: Oh, that's another of those irregular verbs, isn't it? I give confidential press briefings; you leak; he's been charged under Section 2a of the Official Secrets Act.
I have never seen Washington Post referred to as 'WA Post' before. Mainly because there are 2 Washingtons in the USA - both very very far away from each other. WA is Washington State which is where Seattle & Redmond are. The Washington which Washington Post is based of is Washington, DC.
So either Washington Post or WaPo or Wa Post - but surely not WA Post.

Email the data to your gmail account. That's what I do.
You are missing the Point. The architect of VMS became the architect of WNT - Dave Cutler.
You don't seem to understand what is a hash or a salt.
Are all (or atleast most) of free apps on Google store available on the Samsung store also.
I didn't realize Google supported users of Android at all.
I can do all that with my HTC desire X and it probably costs 1/3 of the S4 cost.

Microsoft now has Google Employees working for them as paid part time employees. Not a bad thing.
What if an artist doesn't want to do shows?
What if the artist is a paraplegic who cannot do shows?

In India and most countries outside of the USA, landline numbers and mobile numbers have a different format
Landline numbers = Area Code + Number
Cell Numbers = one long 10 digit number (there is no area code)
Because of this, there cannot be portability between landline and Cell numbers.
Don't be a Padhole
This is convergence of Phones, Computers and Self Defense Weaponry. Hitting someone with these phones would probably cause a concussion.
Cellphone penetration in India, I meant - cellphones themselves are not so massive except for the Samsung phablets
Landline penetration was never good in India.

Apps or App writers don't libel or invade privacy. Users of Apps do.

They are just keeping the EU safe from terrorists
non sequitur doesn't mean what you think it means.
All this shows is that the freedom to murder is not as evolved as in the US.
