Actually, 'climate change' is preferred instead of 'global warming' since it's very much possible that, while the average worldwide temperature is expected to increase, the temperature could decrease in some locations (Example: Gulf stream slowing down causing Europe to become colder)
Sunbird slows down terribly when you have a lot of events in your calendar (I have about 500, which isn't really that much), so you might have some problems with it.
I intend to check with a profiler to find the source of the slowness, but I haven't got round to it yet.
If you select either laptops or desktops for home usage on the frontpage, you'll go to a regular product page. In the drop-down menu for desktops or laptops, you can find a tab 'open source PC's'.
Sure it's not too obvious, but it's not hidden away either:-)
"Nobody disputes that GPL code was committed to OpenBSD CVS."
That IS a relevant fact. It was committed to a PUBLIC CVS. So it should be brought in public. Others might have already used the conflicting code, so yes, this should be known.
In my days, we didn't have those fancy 'computer' thingies.
We only had good old Turing Machines!
Me and my 27 brothers would sit along an infinite line of paper for 27 hours a day, and we'd constantly move the pointer, change 1's into spaces and the other way around. Then, we barely had time to go home, get a spanking from hour father, rape our oldest sister and run back to work, where we had to arrive the day before!
Ah yes, those Turing Machines. They don't make 'em like they used to!
Actually, a Ubuntu CD (when loaded in Windows) will prompt a nice little screen, allowing you to install Firefox, Thunderbird, Gaim and OpenOffice (at least, if I remember correctly).
Thunderstruck? I'd go with 'Highway to Hell' when jumping without a cord (seems more fitting...), but of course that's a personal choice.

ODF is an ISO standard (this page is supposed to show it, but it's apparently down): http://www.iso.org/iso/en/CatalogueDetailPage.CatalogueDetail?CSNUMBER=43485
It's been an ISO standard since November 2006.
It will definitely be a flop in my little country (Belgium): locked phones aren't even allowed in here!

Or you could use Limewire to download Limewire Pro...
Ah, my apologies.
:-(
There goes my geek-card
Just tell them they'll weigh less in kilograms than in pounds!
Strange. I remember people saying that about the 'browser wars'.
Sadly, there's not much going on anymore.
It's the Okopipi project, btw.
Too bad it died...
Let's hope these guys manage to grab a large part of the car market by 2020.
Wireless drivers for Linux!
Coming in 2020.
Indeed, that's what I intend to do ;-)
It depends on what you prefer.
I haven't released any projects yet (I've only been programming for a short time), but I don't intend to release them under the GPL.
Why? Because I think people should be able to link to my projects, without forcing their software to become GPL.
The guys's right about SIP being better, but his reason is wrong.
SIP is better, because it allows more interoperability (open standard, duh!).
I, for one, am shocked!
There is no rise in price! The computer was going to be $140 at first, then (as more countries bought them), it would fall down to $100.
*points*
Look, ma, no humour!
Speech recognition version:
Cook your aunt in liquor!
No, not the comfy chair!
Oh, and please don't use the soft cushions!
Ah, that's nothing!

Is this how quantum jokes work?
