    • 100% of the energy is captured from weights drop
    • 100% of captured energy is converted to light in a theoretically light source
    There is no way the calculation works out to achieve 600-800 lumens.

    Underwelming displays are not exclusive to the Air. Look at the 15in MBP for example. Any other manufacturer offers wuxga upgrades for their 15in laptops. Leopard apparently even has resolution independant control rendering.

    How sweet would it be to both see most of your photo and check if it is in focus without zooming in and out? Ahh... one day someone will see the light... Until them, I guess I am getting a dell, dude.

    If you were involved in radiology or cardio imaging you'd probably realize this is already being done. At the hospital I work at we have a 64 slice CT that does angiography. Does it mean we replaced all angio with the CTA (Computed Tomography Angiography)? No. There are advantages to both.

    Additionally, please check your sources when you say that no dye is involved in CTA. Perhaps you were thinking of MRA (Magnetic Resonance Angiography) which can be done with or without.

    In any case, these new tools will advance medicine but the car analogy holds. This is the 2008 model. It's newly redesigned and comes standard with XM satellite radio. Enjoy.

    When I used to play ET, players would come online once and a while with aim bots. As they found out, an aim bot doesn't equate to victory or even most kills. While it helped them tremendously, poor planning, judgment, and understanding of basic objectives resulted in more of their deaths than mine.

    AI / BI, matters more than you think.

    No kidding, we have this in Minnesota right now and it works great. No problems as far as I can tell. The counting machines are on site and reject a ballot if something is wrong with it. If states are too cheap to buy a device merely for voting, perhaps some enterprising company can make a modular machine allowing usage for scoring tests in schools and voting.

    I just did some rough calcs and it would take ~10 years of usage to make a LED bulb worth it. That's assuming both lasted the lifetimes on the box.

    Here is the thing, why don't these nuts go after the people who test for cosmetic companies first. At least they have no excuse for testing on animals. Some of this neuro testing requires testing on animals who have had strokes/induced strokes. This is just not feasable to do on a human population. There would be no volunteers.
