I've never seen it myself, but if it does occur simply put start before the stuff. All of the following work (assuming txt associated with notepad): demo.txt notepad demo.txt start demo.txt start notepad demo.txt
Wireless in my apartment is hopeless. There are only a couple of networks but even before there were any others my wireless wouldn't even work in some rooms. And it drops so many packets that it's unusable for anything but light webpage browsing. Doing anything that requires a constant connection fails horribly. I had to go back to a wired which obviously works fine.
Can 64bit linux run 32bit apps?
That's one good thing about Windows 64bit... I have tried linux on my 64bit machine yet so I don't know how that works.
At first I thought that no it would make no difference until I realised that Monty has to reveal a goat... If Monty also had no idea and randomly chose another door then I believe it would make no difference.
I've got XP 64 running here and I don't have any problem with it... Do you mean it has lack of driver support or that XP itself doesn't work very well?
Just write your own rating program. After all it is Open Source and choice is good. I would like to see about 50 different rating systems so that the user can choose the rating system he prefers.
Then when there are over 100 different rating systems somebody could develop a rating system to rate the different rating systems.
Hi,
I'm a gay muslim who does drugs and other sinful stuff like pissing on statues of jebus. Will he save me? I always thought he was a lucky bastard to have 12 "disciples". I only have one slave:(
Potential sales? If the only way to get a game is to pay the developer for the game then the developer will make money on every copy run by an end user.
If everybody can get the game for free then very few people are going to pay money for it. If people don't want to pay for a game then why would they want to play it?
PUBLIC DOMAIN! PUBLIC DOMAIN! PUBLIC DOMAIN!
The freest most open software is public domain. Nothing can top that. If code was all public domain then developers wouldn't have to worry about licenses, they could just use any code...
Well the ads for me are so loud and annoying that I always mute the tv as soon as they begin. If they were actually at a reasonable level I might not mute them. Actually these days it's such a habit that it wouldn't matter anyway.
The money argument seems backwards to me...
Amount PearPC developer earns if I download PearPC: $0
Amount PearPC developer earns if I buy CherryOS: $0
Amount artist earns if I buy CD: >$0
Amount artist earns if I download mp3: $0
The PearPC guys will get exactly the same amount of money either way, but if you download the music over P2P the artist will get less money than if you purchased it.
But if copyright law didn't exist CherryOS still wouldn't have to release their changes back to the community... Unless you actually broken into their machines and took the modified source code back off them.

I still laugh at the fact you have to pay for receiving messages. I'm glad the post office doesn't charge me every time I get sent mail too.

64% claim to be religious while 85% claim to be christian... My religion ain't a religion god damn it!
Come on ID is a proven fact. Everybody knows that. It's not a "theory" like evilution.
How much would you charge?

I understand what you're saying but it's still bullshit.

Did he release the source code to the universe under the GPL? I want to make some mods.

What are you losing exactly?
